The whole starters were in on that drive my guess is it was the last drive the starters would be in.

 

Our offense can look pretty discouraging at times....if USC pressures the QB...uh oh....

 

Interesting game so far........

Not trying to start anything but I am surprised how much Wells apparently means to their offense. Defense looks very good but the offense is struggling to say the least.

Wow, they said on College Gameday that the last time Ohio St got beat by Ohio was 1921, but this game has a long way to go.

 

I fully expect osu to win this thing.. it is a classic case, imo, of looking past your current opponent.. but it is just SO sweet after listening to the arogance of so many of the osu fans..

Damn, that game was a whole bunch of 'what took you so long?' Buckeyes didn't really get it going until the 4th, but a win is a win.

 

oh hey guys was there any doubt? Like Finswin said its a classic look past game, Ohio ST just played flat and with no emotion they really didn't want to win, well thats what it looked like to me. Well its safe to say Either Penn St or Illinois beats us, it seems Ohio St still can't defend the spread.

I wasn't worried at all I was pissed though when Boeckman instead of falling on it tried to pick it up and make a play. I agree that was a block in the back on that punt and we got away with it but thats beauty of being on your home turf.

Not to worry Ohio St will be playing much better ball and they will still beat USC.

I was concerned...when your losing in the second half and you have your best player out and a mistake prone QB, it couldve been ugly!! We wouldve been the laughing stock of the country.

True but I have more faith in Jay Fiedler than I have in Todd Boeckman...the guy has never played a good game against any decent pass rush in his career, we would have to run the ball VERY well and limit his attempts.

If Boeckman has more than 20 pass attempts next week we lose.

 

I didn't wanna say anything earlier but I watched the whole game today and couldn't help but think there is no way this QB is the best they have. IMO throw Pryor in there after the USC game regardless.

 

I have been a long time Boeckman doubter and from the sounds of things you know why. He looks very pedestrian against any decent team, we beat Michigan last year despite his poor play.

The strength of OSU is our defense but you need all three phases of the game to compete with USC.

I hate to say it but my confidence level for next week is very moderate.
