What the heck? I read this at the bottom of an article about Thomas being put on IR. It's prolly cause they are so STACKED at WR with the sure hands of Booker and Hagan! During training camp it sounded like Reed had some potential for an undrafted rook, does anyone have any info as to why they might have done this? I hope they are just moving him to the practice squad or something.
"The Dolphins waived undrafted rookie receiver Kerry Reed, who got into two games but had no receptions."

Well, if this kid was so great, he could've seen some more playing time...or something...
Honestly what receivers besides Randy Moss and a select few blow up in their rookie season? Don't give me the Marques Colston example either, he has Drew Brees under center. -
the thinking is that they will put him back on the practice squad if he clears waivers (no reason to think that he wouldn't)
It's surprising to me that we didn't see him involved at all considering that we only have three legit WR's on the roster, with Camarillo being almost exclusively a special teamer. -
Kerry Reed's claim to fame was that Beck threw to him in practice. Big deal: the point is for Beck to throw to Ginn, not Reed.

Greg Camarillo (Evil Wes Welker) has seen more action than Kerry Reed, as seen by this past Sunday. It's great that you think this kid has a future, but you don't know if he does. Maybe he'll get his shot next year when the Greg Camarillos and Derek Hagans of this team are gone -
I am a big Colt Brennan fan and I think it will be interesting to see where the receivers on his team might go in the draft. Jason Rivers, 6-2/192lbs. with 1069 yards and 13 TDs. He had 4 TDs against Washington. Probably get him in the 2'nd or 3'rd round and one thing I have noticed over the years in College Football is sometimes the QB just tries to get the ball to an imaginary circle on the field knowing that the receiver is going to go after that ball where ever it is in that circle and that usually makes for some real "circus" catches. anybody remember who threw the ball to Jerry Rice in college,,,,,,,I didn't think so. The other 2 are juniors, so they will be good again next year.

I still think the offense could use a tall WR as a red zone target. Just look at how Jacksonville beat us last year: they used their tall WRs to jump over our CBs to snag jump balls. -
