Kind of a hard system to implement when no one is above level 2. This is harder to move on than Ninja Warrior. I say scale it down some. Then, I will make sure to cotinue NOT participating...
Alen's level 5 and climbing though I don't think anyone's going to come close to him and he'll be level 9 before you know it.
pretty cool. im not as prolific as i used to be, though i come here just as often. i have like 13K at the other place
OK I'm going to have to type everything that pops into my head just to shed the rook badge! and with my typing skills its gona be a looong wait! Gish I'm guessing your really proud to get into the 100 club?!
Post count is overated .It the substance of the posts that counts IMO. Since that is hard to measure I suggest you divide rep points or thanks....they are directly related...by post count to get an approximation of the quality of the posting. I am guessing Boomer would top that list.
For those who have too much time on their hands. I am guessing there are a couple of members here in that category
If you take Boomer's # of thanks/total number of posts, you get something like 91%, which is pretty much an untouchable gold standard.
Just one more example for comparison: Chris (ckparrothead) has a "post quality rating" of 73%, using the above-suggested formula.
I think the system breaks down when you look at Pagans numbers. Are undressed women considered quality posts ? I guess so according to our horndog members.
How can a girl get a good post count, when you can't get a word in edge wise with all you guys here?????
meh.... not a fan. i've been on a dolphin forum somewhere since they've existed on the internetz.... yet my post count would qualify me as a "rook poster". just because someone isn't a post-whore doesn't mean they are a rookie or newbie or whatever you call it. some of our best posters are very infrequent with their posting. if anything, i vote to remove the post count, keep the "thanks" (if you want to talk about rep or anything). post-count should have no bearing on anything on here, honestly.
