Yeatman played !? Sorry, I was at the Game so I totally missed that !
Chances are still that through all this, our line will be improved upon from the first half. Getting young players some time is a bonus. -
Garner will handle it man.

Right approach Phinsanity, this is really all that matters to me in the 2013 Dolphins season.
Nate Garner is sliding into Left Guard, a move that I like as Richie for all of this was among one of the worst Guards in the league in terms of surrendering sacks, problem is Nate is not really athletic, he hustles and is a good player, and should do fine though.
Clabo stays at RT, this is the one area that I'm concerned about, he looked good v Cinci, perhaps looking at the career abyss kick started him? Perhaps running the ball more covers his limited skillset.
Still, Yeatman had better be ready to play, and with Garner going to LG, Yeatman takes his old role, which means Thomas or Watkins then fills in for Yeatman's role.
One downside is Richie was telling McKinnie what his responsibility was on a given play. Via Sun Sentinnel:

Martin didn't play in the last game and Incognito was injured for the majority of the game. The OL played perhaps their best game of the season in regards to running the ball and the pass protection appeared to be decent for the most part. This team probably isn't going to finish any better than 8-8, so it is probably good that the younger players can get on the field and show if they can play in the NFL or not.
We need to see what they have to offer for the future. Because if they aren't the long term answer, every position on the OL except center, will have to be upgraded before this team can ever hope to be a legitimate playoff team. -

What they did against the Bengals worked. Do it again and again and again and again and again

Going to be a pretty boring draft. Need two tackles, two guards...and hate to remind everyone there's that little subpoena deal in the works with our pro bowl caliber center on account of the suspicion of aiding an alleged murderer in interstate gun trafficking. Oh and also he was likely complicit if not active in the effort to "toughen up" Jonathan Martin.

So you think we're looking to upgrade the skill positions next year then?

Funny self-fulfilling prophecy actually.
Before one of our games I believe a reporter said he talked to a league executive who said that Miami's offensive line is bad enough to be confused with an expansion team's offensive line.
The thing that characterizes an expansion team's offensive line is the fact that all five guys have to be put together in one off season.
There is a very strong possibility Miami is putting together four out of the five positions in one off season...and a slim one that it could be all five.PhinsRDbest likes this. -
Is there anything scarier than thought of Ireland putting together almost an entire oline?
.....maybe the Miami Dolphins being talked about on Bill Maher:pity: -
-
Getting 4 new starters has worked for Chicago this year. It is possible but improbable under Ireland
-
If it's Ireland, I hope the coaching staff is really vocal about what type of oline they want, ZBS or not.
-
-
I wish they'd use the QB sneak on 3rd and short and 4th and short. Seems like they get stuffed with trying to handoff there.

Although this is not a good thing it comes at a okay time, or should I say it could come at a far worse time. We have a Monday night game so we have a extra day. In the previous game Ritchie was injured through most of it so you know they were already thinking about what his backups would be doing. Unfortunately if the o-line turns the corner I can see all the previous issues being laid a Ritchie's feet.
