Oh jesus... the Lions, of all teams. now I have to hear all my local buddies who are lions fans go on about him. At the same time, I can laugh at all the dancing he's gonna do too Good move for the lions though. They need a more powerful runner to go with Best, especially with his concussion issues.
au contraire... Ronnie is back with the Eagles after the trade was voided due to Harrison not passing the physical.
Supposedly Harrison failed his physical because they found a brain tumor. EDIT: http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2011/10/jerome_harrison_failed_physica.html
Ronnie B got himself traded to Detroit just so Harrison's tumor could be discovered... Glad it all worked out though. As for Detroit, "it's a passing league, you don't need running backs anymore"
Holy ****. Can I commend Ronnie Brown for being tradeable enough to indirectly save (potentially) another man's life? Is he in a way responsible? http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/10/20/2463606/report-jerome-harrison-has-brain.html
I would rather have Ronnie or Ricky back than Shonne Green which is joining the long list of Jet overated players.
They said it's the first time in his career he's returning kicks. I coulda swore Cameron had him returning kicks beginning of 2007
Preseason only. Part of Cameron's "Fail Forward Fast" plan. Actually he was doing it to encourage him to stop dancing and just hit a hole.
He came out and beasted for the first 7 games of the season. Was leading the NFL in total yards from scrimmage before tearing his ACL. Say what you want about Cameron as a HC, but man, for those 7 days he showed us what type of potential Brown really had. Sad how things have worked out.
