Watching that game was like dating my sister....(no offense to either one), but to see the jests getting their lunch handed to them was fantastic but realizing it was the pasties doing it kind of took some of the luster off it...
Well, I decided to just pretend it wasn't the pasties doing the lambasting and felt better about the jests getting humiliated, stomped on, whooped up, whooped down and generally embarrassing themselves all over the field last night...rarely do I stay up that late on a Monday night when the game is so lopsided, but just couldn't help myself last night...Garryowen, Moves, BlameItOnTheHenne and 2 others like this. -

I hate the Jets so badly that I just thoroughly enjoyed the game even though it was the Pats. I hate the fact that we are so mediocre and the pats look that good - but, I like the players the pats have (like Woodhead). Just wish Miami would get and hold onto (e.g. Welker) those types of players.
It's interesting to me that the Pats seem to do better without big star names (Moss) and with role-type players (Woodhead; Wleker; Branch) who weren't considered superstars.
But, I cannot stand "The Sanchise" and the pub he gets for being such a below average QB. His QB rating is below Henne's and he's always the darling of the media! Come on!Colorado Dolfan, BlameItOnTheHenne and jetssuck like this. -

Good point (actually we jumped to 4th in yds/game).
And, we are 11th in points allowed. That's not too bad, really, given that the offense has been atrocious and that Henne is near the bottom of the league in # of INT's (15). -
That also includes our atrocious special teams gaffes as well. There was a point earlier in the season where I felt that Nolan wasn't really bringing much, but the defense has come together. Now if only they could improve on the turnovers we'd have something really nice.

Yeah and Manning threw 4 this week, what a bust!!! Well i guess it will just be a race to see who can trade up the fastest come draft day lol!:tongue2:

lol, thats funny 22, well..... not in a sport where you do not have to worry about your families financial security...My take is anyone who plays a game and gets paid the way a professional athlete or coach gets paid, then based on ethics and loyalty to your employer, you just take care of your body for many different reason's, #1 being your performance, #2 if your a coach, to set an example of lifestyle....
You cant tell me that if your a player and your overweight,{ bodyfat ratio is out of whack}, that you are doing everything you can do to become the best player you can be, for the money that you are getting paid, for the job description at hand...
To me its disrespectful to those who work hard for their money, for people who are not as fortunate, to me it shows weakness, laziness, and lack of committment to the people that took care of your family for life..bottom line, you are cheating your own talent, and us as fans. -
