The Team doesn´t deserve Playoffs

I agree. Relegated to hoping the Chargers win, I'd rather finish 8-8 than miss the playoffs with 9-7. The team had careless losses against Buf, TB, and Carolina to put themselves on a razors edge. The team has no OL and they can't stop the run. It's major flawed.

If we backdoor into the playoffs, it could as much as I hate to say it, set us back years. It would be an answer to, should Ireland keep job through extension, should coaching staff stay, could offensive line as is be good enough to remain intact. The answer would be yes and it might turn into the situation where we stay status quo and instead of improving off of a playoff year, the team can quickly regress to an 8-8 or 7-9 next year. I just think backdoor playoffs would be bad. There are holes on this team I don't want Ireland sticking around to fill, frankly.
