Shouldnt be too hard to beat the Jags. They usually beat themselves. Peterson will need at least 5 TDs for a chance at winning.
Eh overhauled roster...I like my chances on O. I wll draft Patrick Peterson to cancel out Marshall and take my chances on my other matchups, especially along your OL. GL Manning!
If by breaking his spirit you mean complaining to the commissioner like a little *****, then yes, I agree with you.
Buying the services of one of the big 4 accounting firms to audit the Vikings financials was impressive. The NFLPA would be proud.
I think it's safe to say I was ready to cut my roster down to the bare minimum, so my spirit wasn't about to be broken any time soon. I did trade Adrian Peterson didn't I, and Williams was next to go after Orton. So think about everything I was giving up, there was no way I was flinching if the financials weren't flubbed by myself.
while it should have been me that caught this error, it wasnt. i did wonder how he had $30M between kalil, williams, and woodley, and was still able to bid as much as he did.
signing kalil and woodley kept you from being able to contend. thats the primary reason i didnt consider you a legitimate contender to sign manning. i was surprised when you decided to trade peterson, trade orton, cut williams, forego your entire draft class, and field a 34 man roster just to get manning.
I never released him. We simply held a very public renegotiation of his contract. Similar to what you were thinking with Manning but on a much smaller scale. The money I saved on Rogers allowed me to get more aggressive with my bidding in Kalil; though that eventually proved pointless. Still, that resigning paved the way for me to sign Weddle and Tulloch and improve my defense. I want my 4th and 6th back.
I found the mistake on my own time. I wanted to make sure BOTH teams had enough cap to bid on Manning AND field a 47 (minimum) player roster. GISH never whined to me about anything.
Woohoo! /factors that in to the 45MM in cap space. Who knew taking a team over in mid March would be so difficult?
Either Atlanta couldn't afford to raise on Jammal Brown any more, or gave up after being outbid after 47 hours and 56 minutes.
