Woodley had 11.5 sacks last yr because of the D he was in, he is an excellent player, but dont get it twisted, Harrison, Foote, Farrior, Hampton, Smith, and Timmons (God why did I trade all of them away again?) on the defensive line with you takes ALOT of pressure away from you. Plus they arent called "Blitzburgh" for nothing. The 3-4 defense is going to always have solid numbers when it comes to your outside LB's, if they are half way decent players. Mike Jenkins for Woodley straight up was a joke, and for you to even have offered me that was a little insulting, Jenkins barely got on the field last yr. Woodley is a potential pro bowl player, HUGE difference. I didn't need a superstar RDE, I needed a solid one, for godsake my front 4 combined way almost a thousand pounds, I think I will be ok.

I wouldn't think of it as that big a joke. Mike Jenkins did fine for a rookie corner and he (as well as Scandrick) is a big reason why the Cowboys were fine with letting Henry and Jones leave. He could start and I think he could do a good job considering what he's done in limited time. He has shown hints of his high potential. Though I certainly would recommend a DE be included with Jenkins.

Joke all you want gi§h®, but my offense it not as bad as you think. Matt Forte is a stud and T.J. Duckett is a beast in goal line situation. Heath Evans at fullback can run it and catch it out of the backfield. I have a great three man rotation at tight end. Kerry Collins is good in his role as a field general who will not be asked to do too much. Plus a very good offensive line and an underrated, young receiving corp.

Its not a top ten offense. But it will serve its smashmouth, throw when you have to, ball control offense.

-i could understand if woodleys salary was $4mil or somethin, but it was cheap.

-i NEVER made jenkins for woodley my final offer. that was my initial offer with a "we'll get back to you" response, which was then shot down. you said you needed specific positions, i gave you a response with what players were available at those positions. you then said 'no deal could be done.' hell i wouldve offered anthony spencer and jenkins for woodley if you were needing a 43 de.

-but to say woodley is a potential pro bowl player, but to only trade for a 'solid de' is weird imo. just doesnt make much sense. maybe thats just me though. oh well whatever.

nah. there bears can be as deep as they want in the front 7, but they wont be able to contain the Pack and their 5-wide attack.

The Packers were fifth in the league in scoring last year. They are now younger and more talented. I've added 2 burners in Andre Davis and Chris Henry. I've added 2 great possession targets in Winslow and Bess. Jamaal Charles is also an improvement to the passing game. The Packers put up 37 and 17 against the Bears last year. They're good for 70 this year. Your depth in your base defensive front will lead to better special teams, and could limit the success of Will Blackmon on returns. So that neutralizes one faze of Pack threats. You can't forget that Packers defense scored 7 touchdowns last year. With your weakness at WR, means I'll be in my base defense most of the game. Your QB will be under crazy heat from Freeney and Kampman. This will only increase the number of chances the Packers have to score on defense. Woodson and Landry are going to be everywhere. Horray for Da Pack!!!!

I like Routt. He's got good size for a CB and he's still a playmaker. He and Chris Johnson are like mirror images. And both underrated CB's fared much better than DeAngelo Hall. Add in a good OT plus the fact that the Raiders can lean on Michael Bush, and it's not a bad trade.

    Corey Webster?
    Kelly Jennings?
    Ty Law?

I actually really like Corey Webster as my number 1 (So do others http://www.operationsports.com/forums/pro-football/289299-top-50-cbs-nfl.html). Chris Johnson will be a number 2 with Routt as the nickle... Look for Jennings to possibly be traded though. I like Law as the veteran that could help on the side line though.

    Way past his prime......

Again, I'm not a stat junkie. Stats are things you put on trading cards. To me, Asomugha is light years ahead of Webster.

"And..... BOOM goes the Dynamite" We agree :knucks:

On a side note, this is the second year I have had HB Darren McFadden on my team.

He was plagued with injuries in his first year, but still managed to get about 500 yards and 4 Touchdowns on 113 carries; also catching 29 balls for 285 yards. I exspect big things from him this year, but he will be my number 2 HB.

He would be a good 5th WR that would be more of a developmental player, I'm not changing my opinion on that.

Why have 6 WRs when you only need 5?

He does... I'm not denying that he has a lot of potential. I felt that with 5 other WRs on the roster, he was using a roster spot that I could use elsewhere. If we had a practice squad, that's where he would go. If I Issac Bruce had retired, things would be different.
