It is the only way to explain all the terrible calls in this game. They refused to blow the plays dead. That Ricky NON-fumble was ridiculous.
Anyone else think they were afraid of the metal whistles freezing and ripping their lips off?

Interesting theory..made me laugh. (totally false theory, but funny still)
nah, it is what it is....so happy for the W, an L would of had me up in arms about so much. But the W is just so sweet, not simply because its a W, but because of how this team adjusted at half time, how it willed itself to do the little things.
I was angry that additonal angles didnt exist or atleast werent shown to TV audience, but wow, we won...bring on the JETS in NY baby....I love this feeling. -
Regardless of whether it was a fumble or not (I didnt think it was until the very very last replay, which showed the ball was out before he hit in my opinion) Ricky has a history of fumbles, and I will argue to the death that he is nothing but an average back at best. Ronnie should have been getting those carries, or a kneel down.
arsenal likes this. -

Sorry, but most of the officials use plastic whistles these days. The (plastic) is actually a better whistle.:wink2:
I didn't want to sound rude, but that is a very poor excuse.:knucks: -
I think the ref's just wanted to game to be over with. Put away the whistles and let the clock run. It was brutal out there.

Rough the passer, yeah I'd say it was pretty touchy...
There should have been a PI call on Darling.
There wasn't any indisputable evidence for the Ricky fumble and the Darling "floater" sideline catch, IMO.
Not the refs best showing, but certainly not their worst.
