we had team avatars before they did. adding vests was more of a "bring it on" move than a reaction, and certainly not because of worry. how are we the worried team again? we're crushing them in the polls, and they are the ones who based their entire team upon attacking ours from the get go. sounds like they are the ones who were (and still should be) worried.

the lead in this event has nothing to do with the new avys. this game is a marathon. and the game has most certainly started.

and its busch-league, not bush-league.

anything else you'd like to get wrong?

Wouldn't a "bring it on move" be a "reaction"?

Meh who cares ... I'm not playing dude. Save your energy for someone who cares ...

And the avatars are still too busy.

I had planned on abstaining due to conflicts of interest (I may need to trade with you guys in the GM League), but the copying of the avatars comes off as a bush-league, reactionary, move (and unnecessary, considering the big lead). Too me, it seems like the KotN team is worried already, and the game hasn't even started. Oh and spoiler alert ...

The Skeet Shooter Avatars are much better than the others, which are just too busy. Nice try though.

Since I'm a fan of underdogs, and since they need the votes, looks like I'm going with Skeet's Shooters.

Thanks! Glad to see someone gets it! P.S. you'll always be able to trade with the Bears...

The Knights of the Night just received a shipment of bulletproof vests. Now we look good, and will only go down with a head shot.

Dude, we were already going for head shots. Or in some cases nad shots.

Meant to cast my vote for Knights of the Night; I goofed and saw Skeet’s name on a team, thought that one was his, and clicked. Can someone change this?

More proof that people are voting based on whose team it is rather than picking which flag they like best. But that's ok. No tears here. It's legal. Like I said, bring on the real challenges.

Actually, we had avatars earlier, we just revelaed them at the same time the challenge started.

bush league
A slang term used to describe play that is of minor league or unprofessional quality. The "bushes" or the "sticks" are small towns where minor league teams may operate, the latter term also used in the acting profession, famously in the Variety headline of July 17, 1935, "Sticks nix hix pix", meaning small towns reject motion pictures about small towns. A "busher" refers to someone from the "bush leagues": see subtitle of Ring Lardner's first book, "You Know Me Al: A Busher's Letters".

Like I said in the main forum thread, I give them credit.
They were "smart" enough to piggyback one of the most popualr shows on TV. Good job.
Of course, The Office won't be there to bail you out in real challenges where you actually have to do the work.
And the won't have all their friends to vote for them in the upcoming challenges either. They will have to do all the work themselves. Jusging by this effort, they're pretty fu*ked.

yeah and if person who inconvenienced said "but dude :P" after saying it's okay i'll fix it, I would consider that normal. it wasn't anything crazy, but you're basically saying you voted for a team based on who's on the team without looking at the flags....and admitted it...now that's fine...but dude :P

Ahem.

wikipedia is wrong.

busch league

1. An adjective referring to anything sub-par, or of a lesser or lower grade.

2. An adjective meaning bull**** or bunk.

The term is derived from Nascar's joke of an undercard, the Busch League of racing. Not only is the league of a lesser grade than Nascar, the whole idea of racing as a sport is bunk.

ahem, ahem.

i guarantee our team has put forth more effort than yours to this point. we're prepared. bank on it.

by the way, circumventing the profanity filter is against the TOS. no one on our team would break the site rules like that.
