Team Name/Flag Challenge

Well guys it's finally time to start this thing off. It starts as soon as it's posted. Normally I'll tell you when the official challenge time starts but for some (like this one) it doesn't really matter.


This is a two part challenge but each part obviously has to do with each other.


Part 1: Create a team name. I will be gathering everyone's contact info (I believe I'm going to just have everyone get AIM so you can have team wide chats with each other and I will help set this up for both captains)

The captains have two choices. They can make the name, or they can take suggestions from their teammates and either vote or have the captain choose the best name. Easy enough stuff. So guys on either team get some suggestions in if you're active in this game it's a lot easier to vote off the guy who hasn't done anything.


Part 2: Make a flag/sig/banner for your new team name. Most people in Survivor's past put these in their sigs to rep their team which I figure will be the case with at least some of you guys. You can assign one person to do this, or have multiple people give it a run and see which one of those you like the best.

You all have until 8 EST Tuesday (Would be Sunday but it's the 4th of July) to turn it in. Then what I'll do is post both of them up and make a link for the rest of the board to vote on which one they like the best. I'll give that a couple days to gather votes, and the loser has to vote someone off.

The only real rules are obviously keep the size reasonable, and you are allowed to do things Dolphins related but don't actually use Miami Dolphins in your name. This is a Dolphins forum so please don't try to be cheap and get easy votes because of it. Hopefully you guys are creative and do something completely different.

This will be the longest challenge in the game, but you guys can understand that with the holiday coming up I'm assuming. :)

It is due 8 EST Tuesday night once again and just send it to me in a PM.

Just the banner. It's just easier to make a name then go on with that, that's why I split it up into two parts.

BTW I'll post it the day both of you turn it in if we get both in before Monday. I still won't count Sunday either way.

the sig/flag challenge was the 2nd challenge the first challenge was a very fun draft challenge that was also very controversial! lol gonzo still hates my guts probably

 

Half the battle is the name. Any artist can run with an idea.

 

So what I'm thinking is a good idea is for people to give BIG E and SICK PMs of the best names you can think of, and then maybe they can get on AIM and talk to people about the ones they like the best, and make a group decision (or if they want to make the decision so be it I suppose :P )

It shouldn't take too long for a good artist to create something once you have that down.

Just a suggestion.

 

BTW if either of the captains feel they need another day (due to the holiday) let me know.

I gave you guys till tomorrow. :) While this game is competitive, I'm not a dick. I just want everyone to have fun and have an equal playing ground.

i'm not that nit-picky lol. JT did the work for theirs (he showed me the rough draft version too) so it's legal in my book. GIK or 2k5 I'm guessing is doing yours.
