BTW me and Lou-igi aka Get Up and Go played our first game last night so the league has started.

 

And a very good thrashing of him you seem to have accomplished.

It was no where near a thrashing as we went into the 4th tied at 7 and I just got the breaks. Although I could have won 28-7 but I threw a pick late however don't think I'm that good.

***Let me explain that I have listed all my starters and have listed some starters as their real positions when they are the starter at another position (ie if my starting FS is a CB I've denoted that). Also I have made my depth chart to reflect the actual players at a certain position; so aside from the actual starter some of my depth chart is modded by me (say my RG backup is a LG well on my list the next RG on my roster will be the backup as I find that more realistic). However each player listed here as my starter are my starters.

 

Oh, so you're the guy who stole my freaking cornerback corps! I was hoping for Jammer or Cromartie, you stole both.

I'd have played some but my g/f has been working days the last week so I have not been able to get on my system for more then an hour any day this week.

It was a good close game. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Too many mistakes on both sides

 

It is way too easy to throw picks in this game. Defenders pop up out of nowhere. That second drive, where I actually got somewhat near the goal line, is a perfect example.

You just outplayed me. Good game, man.

 

Don't feel too bad. My out playing you was only six points.

Well, Get up and Go slapped me around a little bit.

We had a disconnect early (I was playing terrible) and we restarted.

I killed the entire first quarter with a long touchdown drive. I simply can't make big plays so my drives are long and they leave me open to turning the ball over (more on that in a second). He went down the field to tie it at 7's. Then I made a horrendous strategical error. I got the ball and drove it but with the clock spinning I called a timeout with about :30 left in the half to "think about" the 4th and 4 from the 5 I had instead of letting clock spin and kicking the field goal.

Well, I kicked the FG and he drove it down my throat to end the half....ballgame.

I'm a freaking turnover machine. Anytime I try to throw the ball more then 10 yards down the field I get picked, I threw 2 of them including one with a minute left, down by 7 and I had 2 timeouts.

Good game though...I enjoyed it.

 

With turnovers aside you play very well. Good luck on the rest of your season.

Insane meaning frustration...yeah I'm like that all the time.
