Everytime you are on the forums when I see you, we end up winning, that avatar is lucky so please don't change it.
your defense is tired...your talking about a personnel issue..if your defending that a Seattle, Baltimore, New Orleans type venue doesn't enhance any team that plays there, your clueless about the subject..
If our home field was sold out/full of fans, it would be quite the home field advantage as well is all hes saying. A dome does make it significantly harder to hear though. All hes saying is that their fans make the home field advantage more than the stadium does.
So why in the hell did the Saints win only 7 games more at home than on the road out of 207 possible victories before Brees got there? Shouldn't their home record be much better? Nope, I'm clueless. You're absolutely right. I did no research whatsoever.
Composure, come off the ball oline, run with violence, proper mindset...coach needs to get the team in proper mindset, this is a mental challenge, because physically, they are not better than us.
having grown up not far from New Orleans, I do think the venue won them some games. They were so god awful, 20 straight non-winning seasons? They were pretty loud, even when they were absolutely awful. that place was just Mardi Gras indoors when I was a kid. without that atmosphere, they might have gone winless a few seasons. having said that, they are definitely not the top home stadium atmosphere right now. IMO, KC and Seattle blow them away, but the combination of Brees and superdome is a pretty damn good combo.
Was expecting this. At least we should make the Saints one dimensional now. Pity that's the dimension that scares the **** out of me.
Tannehill has an opportunity to make a lot of money/pub tonight. I wonder if he can step up and steal the show. It's a lot more fun to be a Dolphin fan this year!
The atmosphere only pumps you up or intimidates you if you let it. Obviously I've never played in the Super Dome but at any level I played football, road games were always my favorite because I -loved- the opposing fans screaming and going home disappointed (when possible) You're overrating how much fans matter or the stadium itself.
It doesn't feel amazing... Man, I remember the days I could do that, wake up and feel great. I was hurting all day today, but I forced myself to work the full day as punishment
The good news is, all week it looked like Soliai was out and Wake may be in. So let's HOPE Payton's gameplan and practice was all around a run heavy attack with Brees passing off of playaction and on 3rd downs.
I'm so excited I dont know what to do with myself right now, the fact that I feel like this about a Dolphins game instead of a Heat game is just freaking awesome !! Lets go boysssssssssss
DAMN the introductions are getting me excited!
Can we ceasefire til after the biggest game our franchise had had in three years? The staidum shizz will still be around on Tuesday. Let's enjoy the national spotlight for the next three or four hours gentlemen!
I'd sure as hell appreciate not being called clueless when someone tries to shoot down my opinion (based on actual stats), with their own opinion when they don't even back up their opinion with anything but name-calling.
You're right. We have absolutely no advantage at all in the Superdome. So there will be no excuses after the dolphins get dominated right?
Do you not understand the concept of personnel..noone is fu&$ing sayin that venue does it all for you, what it DOES do is elevate performance of payers you do have, if you don't think it's a disadvantage to the opponent, then I disagree with you about the subject, lets leave it at that..
How is it wrong? Evidently the dome didn't provide any substantial home field advantage for 20 years. Then the team gets good, et voila, there's the dome. Sounds like a textbook case of confusing cause and effect.
if they decide to double Wallace, then others need to step up, if not, the Ryan needs to feed the ball to Wallace...if he's got single coverage show us why we paid you 60 mill..
