I love how Nolan Carroll gets called on the pass INT that wasn't, giving ATL a freebie TD and yet not a single flag was seen on Dion Sim's catch despite both hands been wrapped on Dion's arm... WTF?
I think if he dropped the ball a Flag would have been called. I think the Refs saw TD before they could react
Love that pic during the introductions.. All 5,000 fans must have been thrilled with the start of the new season. I was at the game... At 3:55 there were less than a thousand people in the stands.. I started thinking to myself how pathetic the fanbase in Miami is.
As a high school ref, I can tell you that does happen. However, in the NFL, they should know better and still call it. It was really bad too - I've watched that thing about 80 times since Sunday and damn!
I just love how Sims is like, "That's alright, I got one hand still, I got this!" It was just so easy - way too easy, even though, in reality, it's really not.
Sims is such a badass. He goes one-handed for his first career catch, a game-winning touchdown. He laughs at the Falcons trying to stop him.
I was at the game too. They were all at the Bar, as was I. I'm happy that you sat in the pouring rain watching them practice. I walked to my seat when it was nice and sunny and I was good and buzzed.
I work at huiezenga's former estate in palm city, which is now a growing resort. Been thinking lately.... So glad he sold that house, and especially the Miami Dolphins franchise. Ross has really started to come around. I was his biggest critic, but he's starting to win me over.
I only despise shots of our owner during the game slightly less than shots of every other owner. And it's a razor thin margin given Ross' stunts over getting a new stadium. Other than that, nice pics.
It was pouring rain for a while right up to the start of the game. A lot of people, myself included, waited in their cars or under their tailgate tents while it poured but was starting to clear up before heading into the stadium when the rain stopped. It usually bothers me that people get to their seats so late (for dolphins and Heat games), but in this case it was understandable.
I want to see more pics of Ross smiling that big all season long. That man enjoys seeing his team win.
OK. I had to do it.... The one pic of Sims game winner (with the big screen behind him) Look at his right leg- Look to the left two coaches over- Look above him- Yep, that's me in the Orange shirt.
