This should be an EPIC 1st round matchup. Am I choosing the best flex option?

    My starters:

    QB: Tony Romo
    RB1: MJD
    RB2: Ricky Williams
    WR1: Miles Austin
    WR2: Brandon Marshall
Flex (RB/WR): Roddy White home vs Saints
    TE: Dallas Clark
    K: Stephen Gostkowski
    D/ST: Steelers

    His starters:

    QB: Tom Brady
    RB1: Jamaal Charles
    RB2: Cedric Benson
    WR1: Anquan Boldin
    WR2: Randy Moss
    Flex: Pierre Thomas
    TE: Tony Gonzalez
    K: Mason Crosby
    D/ST: Minny

We are both 8-5, I'm #4 seed he's #5 seed. I like both of my RBs better than his and I like my flex better as well. He is about as good as it gets on paper with his WRs, but mine are no slouches. Brady and Romo are close to equal in fantasy production this year and we banged Brady up a little last Sunday. :shifty:

I have these other options for flex this week:

    Donald Driver @ Chicago
    Marion Barber home vs. Chargers

Those are the only other two I would consider starting. I like all the targets Roddy White got last week (20 I think), and well, he is just an all-around STUD. Plus they will probably be throwing early and often against the Saints.

That logic sound right to you all?

You shouldnt even be considering Barber. White/Driver is a toss up. I'd be likely to go with Drvier because he has been money forme this year. But Roddy White is due for another big game. So who knows. You probably cant go wrong, as long as you dont play Barber.

Yeah, I made that mistake last week. I had the exact same lineup but with Barber in the flex and Roddy on the bench. It cost me a 1st round bye and the #1 seed...

Diver over White IMO. Driver has been putting up solid Fantasy numbers. White got a garbage time TD last week it happened on a tipped pass with 1 second left.

there's no such thing as garbage time in fantasy football. have you ever won a fantasy game by your defense getting a desperation INT on the last play of MNF? I have. It was effing sweet!

Well, I have been thinking about Driver, but Roddy White is the CLEAR #1 WR on the Falcons roster and Donald Driver is about equal with Greg Jennings, and Aaron Rodgers always spreads the ball around. I think Roddy will get probably twice as many targets than Driver will this week. This is a damn tough call. :pity:

 true but as long as White isn't playing White isn't a viable option at this point IMO.

Well put faith in Redman to get the ball to white against the Saints defense.

Well Jason Campbell just put up 367 yards and 3 TDs against the Saints last Sunday. And the Saints are seriously hurting at CB. Plus the Falcons backs are against the wall like we are at 6-6, and the play in Atlanta. Still a tough call...

Driver has more recs, yards, and twice as many TDs as Jennings this year.

That is mainly due to how horrible the Packers O-Line was for the first 8 games of the season. Rodgers didn't have time to look downfield for Jennings when he barely had time to drop back before there were 2-3 defenders in his face. He was sacked 37 times the first 8 games. Only 8 times in his last 4.

    Last 4 Packers games:

    Donald Driver

    Week 10: 4 catches 50 yards
    Week 11: 5 catches 40 yards
    Week 12: 7 catches 142 yards 1 TD
    Week 13: 3 catches 31 yards 1 TD, 1 fumble

    Totals: 19 catches 263 yards 2 TD, 1 fumble

    Greg Jennings

    Week 10: 4 catches 45 yards
    Week 11: 5 catches 126 yards 1 TD
    Week 12: 4 catches 53 yards
    Week 13: 6 catches 77 yards

    Totals: 19 catches 301 yards 1 TD

That's pretty close to equal. And that was all I was really saying. Driver and Jennings are pretty much equal at this point in the season. Roddy White is without a doubt the #1 in Atlanta.

I think your right starting Roddy, but you really couldn't go wrong with Driver either.

You'd be wise to watch the weather in Chicago if you roll with Driver though.

    Freakin' Steelers...

5 stinking points against the lowly Browns and losing their 5th game in a row. I am dropping these losers for matchups the rest of the playoffs if I win this week.

    BOOOO!!!!! :tantrum:

The other thing that scares me is should I sit Miles Austin and start Donald Driver? I just love the fact that if Romo throws a TD to Austin I double up on points. That is a HUGE boost in points really fast. And they play at home in Dallas, after Brady Quinn just lit up SD for 271 yards and 3 TDs.

Why do these decisions have to be so tough? :pity:

Do not sit Austin, Start White...they will throwing from start to finish without Turner, not to mention they are indoors as opposed to the "windy city"

This is going to sound like a fairy tale but I just won DeAngelo Williams off of the waiver wire and dropped Caddy Williams.

DeAngelo Williams, Roddy White, or Donald Driver in the flex?

Thanks for the help everyone. I started DeAngelo Williams when I picked him up late. He was the best out of all of the flex choices this week but I owned so hard I could have taken a zero at flex and still won!

143.9 points in a NO PPR league. LOL!

    Bring 'em on!!!!
