i feared the Jets running game. Im glad we were able to stuff them out.

 

I guess the Jets can't run on us. This is encouraging going into a playoff game where stopping the run will be very important.

 

Jets fans will complain that Leon Washington didn't get enough touches today.

We game planned to stop Jones, and we did it. NFL's leading rusher only got 23 yards on us. Have to love that effort.

 

We were disciplined in the gaps from what I saw. Watching Thomas Jones in his career, he always made those cutbacks, springing him for a long run or a nice gain. I didn't see it today. Good play by the defense.

 

With the way our run defense performed today, it makes me feel a lot more confident that we can contain McClain and McGhee.
