Good job the internet wasn't around in the 80's or Marino might have been hounded out of the franchise as well, before he got a chance to make his name.
Marino was on fire right out of the gate on a SB caliber team. There was never a doubt of his greatness.
Yup, he came in as a backup mid-season and really set the NFL on fire. Then he had that all-time best season in year 2 or year 3? It was very clear early on that he was special.
