Cornerback Vontae Davis has switched from #24 to #21, most recently worn by the now departed Eric Green. Cornerback Sean Smith goes from #31 to Davis' #24. And linebacker Quentin Moses will now don #93, mostly recently worn by training camp NT Louis Ellis. Moses wore #74 the previous two seasons.
FYI, for those of you that ordered the #31 Smith jersey or even VDs #24 jersey recently, IE you haven't worn it yet, you can send it back to the NFLproshop... just call 877 nfl shop, tell them that their default list of customizable jerseys was out of date (which it was it had Grisgby and Kelvin Smith on there) and they will send you a UPS return label. You'll get credited back on the account. And if you want to order the new jersey, you have to wait until it appears on the list (or run the risk of them changing their numbers again)... hope that makes sense.. just spent half hour on the phone with them and I'm late for work from my lunch hour.. lol...
Maybe Matt Ryan will throw at Sean Smith thinking he's Vontae Davis, and bam pick 6! I like how Parcells thinks.
I don't see any reason why Ryan would be more afraid of Smith than he would Vontae. Not saying he shouldn't be afraid, but both of them have the ability to pick him off for 6. Then again, Ryan and Roddy White have the ability to burn both of them on a deep ball too. Now if he throws at Vontae thinking it's eric green, now THAT's stupid.
I agree. i did like the originality of it, but i can also see it being annoying when you're constantly around taylor (99) and Wake (91) and your an offensive linemans number.
So Sean Smith not only steals Vontae's job, he steals his jersey #! LOL. next, he will be stealing his contract.
This brings up a question, is there a place I can print out the players names and jersey numbers to have handy when watching games? Sometimes I see the # of who made a good play or block, etc., but can't see their name. It would be helpful if I could look it up on a handy sheet of paper. Any suggestions?
Mark, I open the MD.com "roster" page and keep it handy in a tab.. but I can watch the game from here at my keyboard.
Thanks! Thanks Marty, I'll see if I can print that out, at worst I can probably capture it in a print screen and adapt in a Publisher Doc, then print that out. I don't have my computer in the room where I watch the games, but this should do the trick, appreciate it.
