no, not for their poor play vs the Browns. Yeremiah Bell for $15k for his "illegal hit" on McCoy. Igor Olshansky $10k for his unnecessary roughness (which I thought he lead by his shoulder) and Brandon Marshall $7,500 for whatever he did wrong (I don't even recall that one).
Other news, Brandon Marshall and his wife are back together and hosted the Dolphins' offensive players and their wives for dinner the other night. No word on whether plastic knives and forks were used or not.

Olshanky's hit was questionable, but the worst part of it was when it came and what it did for the Browns...IMHO, he should have been sat down by the coaches then and there...JMO....

Only one was flagged, and the guy that was flagged I believe was fined as well.
I believe Chad Henne has gotten hit 4 times on his slides this year and he's mostly to blame. It's been flagged once. But Henne needs to slide sooner. He waits until a defender is launching into a tackle and then he slides. -
He is sliding late, but if that's a "top tier" quarterback, the penalty flag gets thrown more often than not. I was actually surprised to see Phil Taylor get flagged for that one. I've come to expect the non flag....BlameItOnTheHenne and GreysonWinfield like this.

If that's Peyton Manning or Tom Brady or Drew Brees, they get the call more often than not. If it's a running quarterback a la Mike Vick, or a player of Chad Henne's stature in the NFL, they don't get the call.steveincolorado and MrClean like this.

I agree. The Michael Jordans of the NFL have the refs in their back pocket just like MJ did with NBA refs. Manning and Brady's blockers seem to be allowed to get away with more holding too.dolphindebby and Paul 13 like this.

The stars get the calls, it's just the way it is. Back in my officiating days, the league told us who to protect. If we didn't listen, guys got cut. It's that way in all sports, whether fans agree or disagree. This rules come from the owners, not the league, so don't go blaming Goodell or the league.

This has been going on for a very long time my friend. Protecting the star players and doing what's best for the leagues. When fans complain about fines, rule changes and ect., it starts with the owners, but fans complain about the league or Goodell, not the owners. Fans blame the wrong people.
I don't agree with the way the NFL has turned over the past few years, that's why most of the blame should go to the owners. I still think Goodell is a *** though. -
...........and that someone is probably Roger Goodell. Goodell is a life long Bills fan, who was raised in Western New York (Jamestown NY). He currently has a summer home in Chautauqua Institute at Chautauqua NY outside of Jamestown NY (I know his physical address but will not give it out). Ever since Goodell became the Commissioner in 2006 the Dolphins have always had stupid fines, and extra tough schedules. I was raised in that part of NY and actually know people that know Goodell personally. When Goodell was growing up he watched the Dolphins dominate the Bills for decades. Now the worm has turned. Could it be all coincidence that all of the crap is happening in the last few years? Maybe - is it a coincidence?probably not.
