I can't believe the Pats lost to Seattle.. that game looked over just before halftime... and then they failed to go up 10 with Brady getting called on the intentional grounding. Russell Wilson is fairly decent that one... the new era of the NFL quarterbacks is around the corner with these young guys.
we could have a four way tie at 3 and 3 if the Bills pull it out in Arizona. Reminds of that one year in the early 90s was it? I think all four teams were six and six late in the year. Everyone was calling it the AFC Least.
a lot of very good rookie QB this year… and I also am having a hard time believing the Pats lost that game... Bills just won...
yep Skelton just threw a pick... Feely won them and lost them that game by hitting the 61 yarder and then missing the short one at the end of regulation
now the Texans have pink seats tonight... I know... the whole breast cancer awareness thing... but that just might be going overboard. Why don't they have all pink unis or a pink field next then? Pink footballs...
I thought Wilson looked generally terrible despite his numbers. He doesn't make any reads. He looks to chuck the ball deep and when that isn't there he dumps it down to a halfback.
The amazing part is we really should be 5-1 The Jets and Pats can't say that. This division will come down to division record. We take care of those games and we very well can be playoff bound with the division title. Lose those and it will be very, very tough. Still, at 3-3 it is a good feeling to be in first. Especially when I only thought we would win 6 or 7 this season.
I agree. It's hard to talk about because it's a great cause and you would be hard pressed to find a family not affected by the disease. But the entire month of October? It's overkill. One week of pink and the NFL should cover the rest of it with just a huge check towards research. 30 or 40 years down the road when breast cancer is a thing of the past, NFL Film segments with these pink unis are going to be hard to watch. We didn't see Y.A. Tittle wearing Polio ribbons...
4-2. We should have lost today. You can't pencil in the games we 'should have won' and not correct the games we 'should have lost'. Also we are tied for last place in the division too ...
If we would start Matt Moore and cut Reggie Bush we would be in first place. No opinions allowed. Honestly we are in a good spot right now. Keep on fighting!
I had us going 10-6 in a prediction thread in the off season. I have always been optimistic. I could be right. Tannehill is impressing everyone. If we stay healthy all season and Gaffney pans out and Moore has games like he had today why not? The big IF is staying healthy. Depth is our weakness other than our D-line.
What if you factor the way the refs should have called the game? You also have to factor rules that should have never been made like the tuck rule. Then we should have won.
I care because of how the games panned out. If we got absolutelt slaughtered in our losses and we were 3-3 I wouldn't have high hopes for the season. The fact that we were missed field goals away from 5-1 and we ended up 3-3 makes me have high hopes for this season.
Well, it will be nice to have Gaffney on the field in 2 weeks, to me the offense needs his presence. Schedule is not brutal for quite sometime, we could go on a nice streak.
As we saw today, it's hard to play the Jets at their place and win. I expected the Colts to have a let down and lose, but not that much. Reggie needs this bye week badly to heal. Tannehill too, the way he's been getting knocked around
New York Jets 3 3 0 .500 New England 3 3 0 .500 Buffalo 3 3 0 .500 Miami 3 3 0 .500 definitely exceeding expectations
Jets 2-0 in division games. Next they play at New England and Miami in New Jersey. I really want that next game bad.
Basically a 10 game race for the division at this point. Upside is, only Marshall and Thomas are out, we are a healthy team heading into the bye week and the Jest rematch
nolan carrol wasn't terrible today, but St. Louis does not have a strong corps of WRs. When does marshall come back? do we know what exactly his 'back' injury is?
Two weeks to heal up, if he cannot then we sort of know it is serious. Carroll was up and down, saw some rams wr's making some spectacular plays on him. No one is talking about it, but DThomas has had two concussions already this year.
We are certainly a better team than last year, thats what gets me excited. The team seems to be moving in the right direction. Another good offseason and we could seriously contend in the AFC. I think the Pats are on the downswing and really the Jest and Bills are inconsistent and non contenders. Tannehill has shown some real progress and hope for the future. Excited to be a Dolphin fan for once in a really long time. I've actually talked $hit this week. Crazy I know.
