I just found this in the Sun Sentinel and thought it would be cool to share
Tim Robbie, son of former Dolphins owner Jim Robbie, and former President of the Dolphins, has been named the President of the soccer team Fort Lauderdale Strikers, which is the current reincarnation of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the 70's and 80's owned by Joe Robbie. They're home opener is April 9th at Lockhart.

Edit: after 2 seconds of searching it isn't MLS but North American Soccer League. Never heard of it. -

Yeah the largest sport in the entire world. Who cares.
I would enjoy going to the games and having a team to support but here in Orlando not much to do sports wise other than the Magic who I hate. Long drive to watch a Soccer game. -

I grew up watching the Strikers......going to Lockhart for games was awsome....I remember Jan Van Beveren, Teofelo Cubias (spelling?), Brian Kid....man those were good times....
I even had the red, black, yellow jerseys.....
