Would you expect anything less from Armando?

 

I never boo'ed the Ginn choice and I've never defended it either.

WRs seem to really blossom in their 3rd year. He seems to be developing nicely. I'm willing to be patient.

 

Well, for a rebuilding year, we will now see what Ted Ginn is made of, and whether or not Wilford can play for us, and maybe Brandon London.

This play off push has sort of obscured the fact that we are tryingto piece together the 2009-2012 dolphins, this is an opportunity for guys to step up and show what they are made of.

 

I'm surprised anyone still reads Armando, there are other writers whose product is actually...coherent...who never high five'd a Phins loss...

 

I really don't think Ginn is going to be the go to guy, I think Bess steps in to become that. I think Ginn keeps on doing what he was doing. Ginn cannot be Cammy, but Bess can, he is better suited for that roll. Bess will be the short safe route guy like Cammy was and Ginn will be the HR threat.

 

I think that was Jason Cole. But none the less, I don't care for Armando's work. His blogs are annoying.

 

Ginn's last 5 games he's averaging 88 yards or so. That's not terrible ;)

 

Too bad he is afraid to take a hit.

You obviously haven't watched a Dolphins game since week one. I suggest heading over to Ginn's profile on NFL.com and checking out the highlight reel against Buffalo. He took 3-4 major hits in that game and held onto the ball every time. Ted Ginn is not afraid to go over the middle.

 

none of the catches ginn dropped the last game was he in danger of getting really popped if i remember. he just dropped them.

 

He was looking to make a play most likely.

 

I think he can become the go-to-guy. I think he can be a factor without the ball. We saw him blow up against the Buffalo Bills a few weeks back, making plays left and right. The following week against the Denver Broncos, he was played with a Safety over the top which opened up the door for Greg Camarillo. Camarillo had a big game that day. I think Wilford could start outside with Devone Bess in the slot. While I don't think Ernest Wilford is anywhere near Camarillo, I think Wilford can have some success being the number two option and because of Ginn. I always felt that Ernest Wilford was at his best when playing off of others, not being that number one option and I think this can be his chance again if Ginn can attract an extra defensive back.

I think with Ginn calling for a CB and a safety over top, it leaves Wilford and Bess able to run the routes they're best at.

The guy makes his living posting stupid crap to draw in people to argue all day. You'd think people would clue in by now and not fall for the easy trap.

He can't get by on talent so he gets by on shoddy journalism and sensationalism.

 

Are people seriously mentioning Wilford?

Even with Camarillo out, I doubt we see Wilford.

 

If we don't sign anyone else, Wilford should be active this sunday.

 

Camarillo is the only WR of the four who didn't participate on special teams and know that he's left that void, I'm thinking Wilford will get the shot because they did pay him in the off-season and he has had a good practice according to Sparano. As good as Bess has been as an UDFA, he's better fit in the slot than opposite of Ginn in my opinion. He works the soft spots on the field and he matches up against the slower players (Linebackers). Brandon London could get a shot but we haven't seen him really featured lately. I know we haven't seen Wilford featured in the offense this year either but he's the most experienced WR on the roster and despite him not playing, he is likely further ahead than London in terms of playing WR.

 

I haven't seen anything to suggest we're going to be seeing Wilford. I could be wrong, but I just don't see this guy getting on the field if he hasn't at all so far. And if he does, Jeebus help us.

Anyhow, I think we will see more of Brendon London.

 

In my opinion, when we need a big time catch on a third down, I want the ball in Davone Bess' hands. This guy has such good moves in making defenders miss, to be able to get the first down, and he has quickly become a very popular player.
