It's being reported that TO didn't show up to the Bills conditioning program. The conditioning program is voluntary, but we all know what that really means.

When i first heard about the Bills signing TO to a one year deal, i wondered if that was enough time for TO to destroy the Bills b/c he has shown that he can behave for a year. But it seems like 1 year might be long enough after all.

Do we really know if TO just didn't show up or did the team let him off?? I don't think we know do we? I'm not defending TO, but we don't know the facts.

    either way it's great because

    a) if TO did it he's not being a team player and
    b) if the coaching staff let him off they're showing favoritism to cater to TOs needs

    :woot:

He's definitely expected to be at this voluntary workout. here's a quote from Dick Jauron...

“Terrell in the past has not been involved in all of those things,” Bills coach Dick Jauron said recently when asked about whether Owens would attend the offseason program. “My hope is that he’s here. He knows how important it is for us, particularly in his first year with us.”

Looks like TO is making a big statement by not caring what the coach wants. What a moron!

Juraon is Ralph Wilson's puppet in this case. They got TO moreso for the apparel sales then the player himself. Just another PR move/ploy to try to increase the marketability of his team.

Smart move if you ask me. Already got them a Monday night game.

Just wait until Trent throw 4 picks and he thinks he is being excluded from the gameplan because Edwards keeps hitting DB's instead of WR's.

I dont know if I would worry about him just yet. His fitness has never been an issue. He will show up for the mandatory events. I bet he wasn;t the only one that didn't show.

i find it quite amusing how TO is considered a cancer because he is vocal about his desire for maximum ball touching (no homo), yet Brett Favre can stab the Packers in the back and still be viewed as a great guy and team leader. Selfish is selfish. Why the double standard?

If the Bills expected anything else, they're stupider that I thought.

no double standard here brother.. at least not on that.. I loved the disruption favray caused the jets, and honestly hoped for one more year of it. Terrel WILL be a distraction before it's all over. I just hope that the mess he creates translates into buffalo losses.

He's only a distraction because the media makes him a distraction. It was not a mandatory workout! Even as I type this ESPN plays a report they have played 18,000 times today about how he didn't show up.

i think the medias portrayal of what favre did to the packers was roses and daisies compared to the grief they give TO for doing the things he does. i too was happy to see favre go to the jets. i view him as just as much a cancer as TO, Chad Johnson, and soon to be Jay Cutler. Heh, one more way to compare Cutler to Favre. Both have egos larger Gilbert Browns waistband. but i digress, i see a clear double standard in the perceptions people have about certain players and not others. I guarantee if Tom Brady were to holdout of camp and threaten to miss the regular season to get a NEW longer deal with more money, then he would be labeled as smart, and not as a prick. But its crap like that which fuels players into thinking they are above the team. Im not saying Tom Brady would do that, but I am saying he would get free pass from media ridicule if he did.

I for one would get on a plane and go shake Jauron's hand!!!!!!!!! :hi5:
