Hate the Henne pick, if Calais Campbell was there and we passed on Royal for Zuttah, I would like that draft.

They have us passing on Campbell and Groves. I would also like Zuttah as well.

I dont want Henne at 32 no matter who is or is not there. To much talent to go reaching for a so-so prospect at QB who likely isnt any improvement on Beck. Only QB id consider at 32 would be brohm. If hes not there save QB for a later round pick and take a guy like Brennen or the kid from san diego-Josh Johnson I think.

What jumps out at me is none of those players can attack the line of scrimmage, that is the sort of draft a 9-7 team that was looking to fill holes would take.

Not a single DE, not a OLB, just qb/cb/wr/g/te/wr/cb

I love the Lehman and JJ Finley picks, and Godfrey, but we need some defensive players that can get into the offensive backfield consistently.

McShay needs to lay off the McBeers. A so-so skilled QB who shouldn't be touched with anything higher than a 3rd round pick for the 32nd overall when you have potential needs at DT, DE, LB? 3rd round pick on a WR who has poor receiving skills and is best only as a return man when we already have a returner? I hope that Jake Long one is the only one he gets right in this "mock"-ery.

With Connor, Cason, Groves, Phillips and even Keller still available and we take Henne? I'll be pissed.

He also has the Bucs taking the same player in the 3rd round that they took in 2nd...

Chiefs have a great draft though

If you said the Dolphins drafted either Connor, Cason, Brohm, Porter, or Kelly with our 32nd overall, I'll either be happy or at least satisfied with it. Draft Henne with the 32nd and it's barf-a-thon 2008.

I agree that's a good draft for the Chiefs.

Yeah, I keep harping on the fact that a team as devoid of talent overall as we were last year, needs to pull starters out of the first few rounds. IMO, if any player taken from round 3-4 or above is sitting on the bench game 1 he will be a dissapointment. We need players, not projects, coming out of the first rounds.
If we want a project developmental QB, we should be looking at the likes of Josh Johnson and Colt Brennen and Andre Woodson in the later rounds of the draft, not a guy like Flacco or Henne going 2 rounds to soon.

Brohm is the only QB other than Ryan worthy of a second round, let alone first round pick.
