That article smells bogus. Brady wouldn't pop a cold beer open, more like a wine spritzer

We'll see how many beers they toast to when Philip Merling is ruining Brady's day.

What a surprise Tom Brady getting drunk and sharing warm embraces with other men, seems like his motto.

Plus if teams attack Brady like the Giants did in the Super Bowl then he has a whole new set of problems that will dwarf JT.

assuming he gets signed before the damn season starts.

this actually made me smile. i'm not mad at brady or light for saying that... if you ask me, that is subliminally giving props to JT for how effective he was for us.

This was a tribute to JT and their respect for him, I am personally ashamed by some of the posts in this thread.

yeah, we all know how classy Tom Brady is, and how he goes out of his way to show respect for his opponents.

My post wasn't about Tom Brady, it was more about how classless some of the posts in this thread were. I hate Tom Brady, but if he shows JT some respect by being happy not to have to face him twice a year, we ought to just allow JT the props. JMHO.

True phinsrock, it was a great tribute to JT and the destructive force he was for us.

I guess it was just too easy/hard to resist burning Tom, which we all like to do. Sorry it got derailed so fast.

I understand Brady is metro/pretty boy, but to imply that he ahem, prefers cahorting with those of the same sex ... is taking it too far! He's nailed some pretty damn fine women. Even impreggoed one and started dating a supermodel before the first (an actress btw) gave birth. That's a dog if I ever heard of one.

I'm really going to miss JT and I love how most in this thread are acting like this isn't a big loss. I'm sure rookie 3-4 defensive end Phillip Merling will come in and wreck havoc.

JT will be missed. He was a warrior on Sundays. As soon as he was traded, I knew Brady and NE would make a statement about it.

I don't know that it was meant to be a tribute to JT and I don't know why you're upset over the comments I"ve seen.

I mean the fact that Brady and Light are toasting over this is verification of what a strong player he was but it's not a tribute to JT.

What you have here is Tom Brady and Light toasting to the Dolphins being a weaker team now and them assuming that they are going to burn us without problem this year.

I don't see that as a tribute at all and I don't have a problem with Dolphin fans taking offense to their gloating.
    We've endured enough of it.

I really do believe Brady and the other QBs in the AFC East are breathing a sigh of relief.
JT would get into his head.In the gifs you can see him always jawing at him as he helped him up after sacking him.

He even did it when others sacked Brady .

I am disappointed that Dolphin fans are underappreciating JT.

However I feel confident that attitude will change with time.

I don't think anyone underappreciated what JT has meant here at all.

What I think happened is that many fans knew it was best for both parties to move on, for the Phins to get some value before he simply walked and many grew sour from his recent posturing.

Any fan would be crazy not to realize the talent he brought to the field and I haven't seen anyone on these boards insinuate he wasn't a talent.

Let him give props to JT. That's not what I'm mad about. By him toasting and cheering that JT is gone is him saying he thinks the Dolphins are going to be a pushover without him. He could still give props to JT without insulting the Dolphins. I'm a Dolphins fan. JT isn't a Dolphin anymore. I love what he did for us, but it's in the past for now. And when Tom Brady takes a shot at the Dolphins I'll make jokes and take shots at him and laugh about the hilarious shots and jokes others make. That's what makes football fun.

Tom Brady and their offensive lineman in New England should be alot more concerned about how they were exposed by the NY Giants in the SB. I think Brady will be running for his life this year, regardless of who the Pats play.

Exactly... it's a total disrespect to the Miami Dolphins, and I would remind our defense of it the week before our next game with the Pats.

Well I hope Brady and all the Patriots think that the Taylor trade will mean that we won't compete with the Patriots this year. It will all make for a great upset when Joey Porter and Co. shut up Tom Brady.

good stuff. gotta love the respect JT brought to our team. but a 2nd for our 34 yr old HOF-er is a no-brainer for us at this rebuilding point. and knock wood, we've potentially had great success at other teams 2nd rounders. a staple at center(satele) for welker from the pats. a steal in the prolific college passer (Henne) for Chambers. who knows what JT will bring us in the future.

Jeez some guys in this thread are being a bit prudish, just lighten up its all in fun. Everyone knows Taylor is a great player and has been for the Fins and I would love to still see him in a Fins uniform but that's over now. I respect him for what he did and wish him the best in all he does. That being said whats wrong with flaming Brady, nobody thinks he really likes men it's just all in fun.

I also don't think Brady was saying anything other than this makes his life better by not having JT around. He was complimenting JT in a round about way, so good for him for doing that.

One thing I loved about JT wa sthe way he'd wipe that stupid egotictical smirk off of Brady's face, everytime he sacked him.

I am going to miss that guy.

    Also:

and Pats fans wonder why he gets called a fruit.

anyways this just shows what a panzy Brady is....you're THAT scared of a defense that you have to go celebrate? what a little girl. Anyways, we all still hate Tom Brady so who's to say this defense won't do as much damage?
