Who do you guys like as potential future coaches for us? Seems pretty obvious that we will clean house. Let's throw some names out there.
My favorite right now (after the little research I have done) for OC is Ken Zampese from the Bengals. Looked at his career and he was a WRs coach/offensive assistant for the Rams when they put up those ridiculous offensive numbers in 2000. Then he went to the Bengals where I saw a report that he played a leading role in scouting and developing Carson Palmer who has put together himself a very solid career. When Palmer didn't play his rookie season, Jon Kitna started and posted his best career season. Since then, he has developed Andy Dalton into one of the top QBs in the league and that Bengals offense looks unstoppable.
what else you guys got?

Give me Mike Shanahan. Dude wanted Tannehill and had RGIII forced down his throat. Would love to see what he would do with him.

If Sean Payton gets the axe at the end of the season, he would be my number one choice. Gus Malzahn is up there too. Whomever it is has to be a leader of men that inspires in addition to being a strategist. I dont care which side of the ball he comes from.

Sean Payton would be the best choice. He won a Super Bowl in Dolphins stadium already. I think he is a high IQ football guy like belicheat

If Tannenbaum stays, then I think it could be Jim Schwartz since they were on the same staff in Belichick's Browns. Plus he's not doing anything right now so he can put in immediately.

My top two candidates
Sean Payton
Mike Shula
Ive already talked about Payton two weeks ago and why i want him here. Hes my top choice.
Mike Shula has excelled in Carolina. Cam Newton and Tannehill have similar skills sets. I think Tannehill would do well under Mike. Mike is definitely head coaching bound soon in the NFL. And he's got Dolphins in his blood, he would definitely thrive to suceed here.
Both of these candidates will need a strong defensive coordinator. -

Sean Payton would be a fantastic hire. Rocky Seto would be someone I would be interested in. He is Asst HC for the Seahawks, and is responsible for coaching the Legion of Boom. He always is the one that has taught the seahawks a new method of tackling that involves wrapping and rolling, instead of driving. Higher rate of successful tackles and its shown to reduce the risk of injury.Pandarilla likes this. -

Pat Fitzgerald is a very interesting candidate to me.
What he's done at Northwestern is nothing short of remarkable given that program's history and limitations/
Plus he is only 41. Still young with a ton of time to grow. -
No Pat is a great motivator but hes a terrible in game coach -
Keep seeing Sean Payton's name mentioned but how realistic a shot do the Saints have of firing him? Honest question. Seems to me they would be crazy to fire him. Is there some power struggle I'm not aware of like the Pagano situation in Indy? I know he's had a couple of off seasons but if there's any coach who has earned some patience, it's him.

Payton is under contract for 2 more years and Benson isn't the type to pay people to go away.
Unless he quits, I'd say he's safeILDolPhan likes this. -
I don't want mike Shanahan or Sean Peyton. No coach has ever won a SB with 2 different teams for a reason. Anyone with a Bill Cowher/Chucky mentality, but not those guys specifically.

Still in the Gus Malzahn camp myself but I'm also interested in Vic Fangio.

Other than the mega-talented SeaHawks, the top eight defenses listed on the NFL sight right now run a base 3-4. I want a new defense, and Justin Houston thrown in with deal.
