Not a bad list, i really think JT deserves the honor of 99 over sapp but regardless it was a good read.

In addition to Marino, Csonka, Stephenson and Langer there are Vincent, Byars and Seau who spent time with the phins.

Sapp has one major advantage. A Super Bowl ring.

Ricky not even mentioned for #34. Disappointing. Chris Johnson was mentioned for #28 with only one big season.

No Welker mention for #83. Odd. All he has done is dominate.

In addition, so does Trent Dilfer. A Super Bowl winning team shouldn't be possible with a sub par QB but it happened.

The whole "He don't have a championship ring so he can't be a great player" argument is so meaningless in football.

Having said that, Sapp V. Taylor would be a tight debate as to which deserved it more so I can't really take issue with the Sapp choice.

He is also the benchmark for his position. Any 4-3 DT that can rush the passer is automatically quoted as being "the next Warren Sapp", can't say I've ever seen anyone being quoted as the next JT.
JT was a great player and may make it into the HOF one day but Sapp will be a first ballot HOF imho.

Just having a scan over the list and at #8 no way would I take Troy Aikman over Steve Young.

Love me some Walter Payton but when I see the number 34 I think of a freight train......

Lott over Warfield must have been a tough choice.

I'm happily suprised they put Marino there at 13. Don't get me wrong, he deserves it, but Warner has some super bowls, and took multiple teams.

Warner has had a great career and all, but at the end of the day he don't even come close to carrying Marino's jock strap. You are comparing a QB who is arguably the best QB in the history of the game to another who has never and will never be mentioned in the same breath of the best of all-time.
