Trading down easier said than done for Miami Dolphins http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thed...own-easier-said-than-done-for-miami-dolphins/
I'd like a late second and third from Philly, #55 and #87 in addition to #24. But I'd consider a second and fourth. Wonder if we can get #37 and a fourth or fifth. That would be full of WIN. Imagine flipping that additional third or fourth for Osi.
I'm sure all of us would take the best option that comes Lets hope its a great deal! Definitely a swap, and a 2nd rounder, and a future pick won't hurt!
You sound like Omar Minaya...lol "we take our 2, 3 and 6 and uuhhhh then we match it with there uuhhh 4, 5 and 2 because the 2, 3 and 5 uhhhhh dont matter uuhhh"
I think we need the guy we're considering at #12 more than trading down. JMO, but the eagles want to trade up for someone like Earl Thomas right? But...WE need Earl Thomas...
The Jags may very well take less than "full value" for the #10 pick, like taking #24 and #55 and calling it good. That still gets them a second rounder to grab Tebow with. Or they could use #24 on him and still have #55 to spend on defense. Hopefully the Jags insist on getting a fourth rounder too, and Miami can make that trade with the Eagles for only #24 and #55. They can take Nate Allen at #24 or Chad Jones/Morgan Burnett at #55. The point is, if Miami wants to move down and get another pick, they need to be prepared to take a bit less in trade value to get it done.
I wonder what the price would be from the chart for the #10 pick compared to the #12 pick? Also I wonder what the salary drop off would be for the 12th pick as compared to the 10th pick? I hope we trade down because we have too many needs and the odds of success are better in the early rounds rather than the later rounds.
