So I decided to keep track of who I received in return for Colin Kaepernick, here's the trade-by-trade.

Collin Kaepernick, QB, $1,297,535
7.220

San Diego sends:
2.35
2.42
4.128
Stevie Johnson, WR,
$5,650,000

Brandon Taylor, SS, $640,969
Melvin Ingram, OLB, $1,908,690

After shopping Stevie Johnson, I traded an additional 3rd round pick and received 2 additional 2nd round picks

Stevie Johnson, WR, 5,650,000
3.76

Jacksonville sends:
2.48
2.62

With that said, here's what it looks like so far:

Collin Kaepernick, QB, $1,297,535
3.76
7.220

2.35
2.42
2.48
2.62

4.128
Brandon Taylor, SS, $640,969
Melvin Ingram, OLB, $1,908,690

I then traded pick 2.48 for my number 1 wide out, Greg Jennings. I also traded up in the draft with pick 2.35 for 2.33, at the cost of a 6th round pick. After using all these picks in the draft, here's how it looks.

2.33 - Johnathan Hankins, NT, $800,000
2.42 - Sylvester Williams, DT, $800,000
2.48 -
Greg Jennings, WR, $10,537,000
2.62 - Margus Hunt, DE, $800,000
4.128 - Chris Gragg, TE, $525,000
Melvin Ingram, OLB, $1,908,690
Brandon Taylor, SS, $640,969

7 players for Kaepernick, and 3 draft picks. Kaepernick's stock is currently sky high, but he only has 10 starts under his belt. Gatta sell the cakes while their hot gentlemen.

And once upon a time the Chargers traded Eli Manning to get Shawn Merriman, Nate Kaeding, Philip Rivers

You never know how things are going to turn out, because for a while it looked like the Chargers got the better of that deal...well two Superbowl Championships later...

Its a nice haul but I have to agree with Schisno. Those are a lot of question marks. Right now you believe this to be selling high. If Kaepernick is a big part of SB winning team though and emerges as an elite player its going to look like a whole bunch of average because as we know franchise QB's are worth a whole lot and while 4 2's is ok, if hes a franchise QB a real team would trade a top 6 pick and a future 1 + other picks like Washington did last year. I think the rams wouldve liked RG3.

I prefer getting Joe Flacco for Kevin Minter, DJ Fluker and Kiki Alonso myself.

I wouldn't label Kap as a franchise QB. He hasn't played an entire season yet, and I'm certain defenses will study the **** out of the tape from last season to figure out the read-option. The Ravens looked to have done a solid job in the Superbowl to make sure Kap didn't go anywhere. His arm strength and what he can do in the passing game was surprising though, I'll give him that.

Im digging the haul I got for Matt Flynn. I got Ryan Matthews who turned in to a 3rd for a 7M+ backup. Suck on that.

I agree that C Kap isnt a franchise guy yet but he showed (surprising) potential to be one. You said you were selling high on him but in reality if he becomes a franchise QB you sold low.
