That's a shame, I was really hoping he be the surprise that we desperately needed on the OL.

Any reports on Jordans issues?

I think Samuda still sticks on the roster and maybe next year pushes for a starting spot. As for RG this year, I think the best hope is that Lance Louis or John Jerry get back soon. Nate Garner is serviceable, but if Louis and/or Jerry are healthy, I don't think Nate Garner is one of the best 5.

No reason for Jordan's absence has been reported. He did start the practice in the bubble before he, apparently, returned inside the training facility.

head coach Joe Philbin was asked about Jordan's status. "I'll talk about anybody who was at practice today," came Philbin's standard reply.

Philbin on Dion Jordan's role in preseason: We want to develop him on all three downs, so he gets exposure to a variety of looks."

I like this, keep all the things he does on a football field evolving and fresh in his mind, keep him thinking about everything, I want the whole package to develope.

Rishard Matthews, reports by some that were there is that he's real smooth and a noticeable difference between the other guy vying for that 4th position..caught that deep pass yesterday...this offense could miss a guy like that..we need his game.

So much for the whole theory that our defense in practice will better serve our offense against future opponents..

Hopefully Garner solidifies the line with some experience, hopefully Dallas Thomas improves at right tackle..
