I feel the reason I didn't watch the second movie has to be one of the most ridiculous reasons ever. It is because in the first movie during the commercials they showed him deflect a missle with a serving tray. When I watched the movie that part was not shown. I was quite upset with them for that.
Bew glad you didn't. And trust me, that girl in lingerie they showed in the commercial.... not that cute. At all.
That wasn't even close to the most far fetched part. The scene where he drove off a ramp, did a barrel roll, and snagged the car bomb off the bottom of the car on a crane hook might be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen.
no, no you are not. The first was barely watchable. The 2nd was a complete waste of time, and unfortunately I like Statham as an actor.
I enjoyed the first movie and I like the main character/actor but the second movie was far too unbelievable.
Far Fetched doesn't bother me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NI6iu7e91Y STuff like that is funny and fun to watch. Heck Shoot'em Up is one of my favorite movies and it is nothing but far fetchededness. I just felt lied to. I was looking forward to that part.
I thought that was Crank. No wait, wasn't that the Bank Job. Oh, I know, it was Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrells. Maybe I'm thinking about Snatch. No, it was the Italian Job. WTF, talk about a guy being typecast! BTW I just found out that they are making a sequel to the Italian Job. It's called the Brazilian Job, with Marky Mark and Charlize Theron returning for the sequel.
and where did the budget go for that stupid plane sequence in the end? it was actually embarrassing. you have all these other stunts and effects, and then this horrible effect in the climax of the movie? just bad. and why bother bringing a mathew modine to the cast, if thats what you're gonna do with him? but the 1st one was surprisingly good. i was totally shocked when i saw it. same goes for Crank, that movie was great fun imo.
oh jeez that made my day! imagine knowing those actors, or like the director...and so you watch the movie but you have to be polite when they ask your opinion?! "no man, it was really great, that fight sequence was awesome, really great choreography, very exciting...and you really nailed the emotion with the "yeah...see ya" line".
