I believe our Prince started at the 11 point mark.
Out Prince of Polynesia was kicking some serious arse as usual.
Check out the standings at the end.
Wooo! Precision passing at it’s best, mofoers!!!

Not concerned about his standings in a stupid exhibition where everyone is joking around

I am concerned however about the condition his body is in.
He looks very overweight relative to what a 25 year old pro looking to get paid should look like, I noticed it in hard knocks, I actually think he gained weight as the season went in and it’s not a coincidence to me that his performance level dropped and you could see the effects of it show up in his lack of quickness, agility and his speed.

I’m pretty embarrassed for him as he looks out of place to me, when the commentators start mocking you on tv you better check yourself real fast.

Maybe it’s what he needs this wake up call, he’s been in the doghouse before for doing the same..

I kinda expect that he should care. Should care about beating his peers. Showing why he's the best.

    But he didn't care.

    And he's a fat ***.

Fat for what he should be. Not fat compared to 85% of the population.

I’ve been consistent from the get, the whole strategy for him to gain all this bad weight to protect him was a flawed football strategy, don’t care if it’s a coincidence that he played 17.

Mahomes looking pretty thick in the gut and yet all your angst is directed at Tua.

Enough already. If you say it once then maybe twice, you’ve made your point. When you keep saying it over and over it makes your posts sound petty and No credibility

Imagine using these “stats” to measure a QB while totally dismissing real game/season stats. Lmao

The Harlem Globetrotters are probably the greatest basketball team in history to you, huh?

Yeah well, Mahomes still seemed to move well and can take hits.

And it's not really about the gut.

Literally led the league in passing and people legit still think he’s actually bad. Not mediocre. Bad. The level of hate is unreal.

Unless you know dude's BMI, you can't say that.

You can't say that it's a coincidence that he's made it through a full season when his body is one of the things he changed up during the off-season.

It's not about the lame ProBowl game. ....and judging by the votes, lots of fans greatly cared about getting him into the Pro bowl. No one actually gives a s--t about the actual game. Duh.

This does mean something. It's just some more poop on the pineapple pizza.

30 years later, people still talk about and show Marino's performance in the same competition and how he instantly went for the hardest target and nailed it.

It meant something to Tua as you can hear from his comments after the competition.

Go watch that old video with Marino, look at his face when he is about to go and how serious he took it. That's just the mentality of a true competitor even at the meaningless Pro Bowl. It is something you can't just turn on and off like a light switch. 3 decades later and we still see the video of Marino nailing it. Marino went there, busted his arse and wanted to show everyone, "I got ti". It meant something to him.

So the guy who blew the last and most important part of the season, who wasn't the top rated passer when it mattered, showed up at the Pro Bowl and didn't want to compete? Is that what you want to try to sell here?

Tua scored 16 points, lowest among the six participants.

"I felt a lot of pressure," Tua told ESPN's Ryan Clark who asked if he felt pressure as one of the most accurate passers in the league.
"A lot of these guys are good throwers. I didn't come with my A game that I wanted to today."

    40-50 million per year?

“It’s not about the Pro Bowl”

    “It’s about the Pro Bowl!”

Do you just put a hamster on your keyboard and let him loose?

    lmao

Yeah, Baker Mayfield is the best QB in the league because he won the throwing competition at the Pro Bowl.

The amount of brain power in here couldn’t run a gameboy.

Again, you create a strawman to argue against, because you can't actually argue against what he is really actually saying.

    Tiresome.

And, not for nothing, you guys are ally pushing the Pro Bowl selection as proof of how good he is.

But YOU want to discount the ****ty performance.

It speaks volumes about Tua. He doesn't have the edge. He's not in the same league as guys like Marino, Kobe, Jordan.

First off making him gain weight is a stupid strategy to try and avoid injury, especially when we’re talking about playing this game at the highest level.if you couldn’t see the affects of it in the way he operated than I’m sorry.

2nd he put on more weight imo after the bad weight he gained this off-season. That tells me there is an issue personally with nutrition and discipline

Not saying he’s not a good Qb who can get better, just giving my opinion on a subject that is concerning to me

Yes, here is another strawman argument. I'm NOT saying that the Pro Bowl means anything.

I'm referencing Tua and his seeming IDGAF attitude about performing well and showcasing his talents.

But sure, let's act like I'm talking about the actual results of the Pro Bowl and affiliated activities.

Yep, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…

If Tua walked on water, folks would complain he couldn’t swim.

Let’s see, how has the entire Tua argument gone thus far?

    Tua sucks!
    He has no weapons

    Tua has a weak arm
Leads league in air yards 30+ yards

    Tua’s weak and injury prone
    Plays complete season injury free

    Tua’s fat

You can’t make this crap up! I’m about to go into a self imposed exile due to the utter stupidity and lack of common sense that’s so frequently displayed here.

In their defense Dan Marino cemented his legacy when he hit that last target to rob Steve Deberg back in the early 90s.

YOU claimed that everyone was saying the Pro Bowl means something. I was letting you know that you’re incorrect because I don’t think that.

BS. Clueless. I clearly explained why it was important, but yeah, just keep ignoring everything and repeating your nonsense. Now, it's just the weight! That's all you can say now. Crazy. ..and I agree about the weight.
