Ankle is a spot that is sometimes never quite right again. I hurt mine fairly badly 3 months or so ago and while it mostly healed, there are still times where it locks up or I cant bend it a certain way.
I didnt have surgery and I dont know how serious his is prognosis wise, but it causes me concern. -

If he comes back without further issues until the end of the year I think you can at least feel okay taking him. -

It's just a gut feeling, but if Tagovolia plays poorly this week vs LSU and is hampered by the ankle the remaining month or so, where Alabama's two remaining SEC games are on the road, the odds increase for him going back to school in 2020.
