I think Omar is betting his boy Nannee will survive when Gaffney or another vet is added .This is his way of sticking his tongue out to those fans who think Mathews will win a roster spot over Nannee .

He might, because it's often easier to sneak someone on the practice squad after the season has begun due to teams having their rosters fairly set. But it's risky, and if they truly think he's got a future as a 1 or 2 then I'd hope they wouldn't take that chance.

I don't get it either. Mathews was, IMHO, the best WR outside of Bess in the preseaon. He competes for the football. Not sure why Omar is so sure he's the guy who gets the axe when they sign_________(enter vet WR's name here.)

 

I can think of many things:

- his name
- the team he covers

I put anything Omar K tweets, texts or puts in print on IGNORE. a very long time ago. Honestly, to me the man does not even exist. Thank God I do not live in S. Florida and have to see his face on TV, if it is on TV. The man is probably the worst sports reporter I have seen in my entire life. I am serious. Went to camp last year and read his reports and wondered if he was at the same camp I was at. This year ? Yep, went to camp and did not read one thing that had Omar Kellys name attached to it, refuse to. If he ever gets fired his new job would be making the holes in doughnuts and that would be a challenge for him,

From what I am told he and other S Florida hacks have been trying their best to get in front of the HARD KNOCKS cameras which sometimes they do succeed. Thank God Hard Knocks edits them out though.
