OmarKelly Sparano said he hasn't completely settled in on Richie
Incognito as his starting LG but said he's getting close to earning the job.

Richie is a lock but I'm still surprised he has no run time at Center

Moody dude for sure...but hey, they were the ones hooneymooning Marshall after he came here, then the dude drops 2 balls in the 1st preseason game, punts a ball in practice, and they all turn on him....I dont blame him, you are either on board with BMarsh's program or arent in his eyes....

When you've got Grove, Berger, and guys like Procter and Garner who've played it sparingly, there's really no need to move him there just to give him run time when we've not settled on the starting C yet.

With Incognito, I feel like he's much, much better suited for G in this offense anyways. Why mess with a good thing?

In a nutshell, there it is, Greg C was a fine Wr in 08 and 09, but the offense has to move forward with more physically talented players.

Greg C was far from a Scrub, but we just need more at Wr, and i'm really surprised he did not wind up in Cleveland or Detriot or Tampa.

Well, you'd give Richie I some run time at Center simply because of the Panthers Game scenario..Olinemen dropping like flies, you need to know that Incognito CAN fill in at Center in a pinch.

I like Sparano being upset, will likely cause a fire to be lit under the asses of our players.

We can't settle on Grove vs. Berger at C and some posters want to take snaps away from that decision making process just to see if Richie can play C? Does not make sense to me, especially when Incognito seems to have locked down the LG spot and we need he and Jake to play a lot of snaps together to build some synergy.

Even though you know that Garner and Procter can do it? Seems like overkill IMO when you still haven't picked a starting C. I could see it in practice once the regular season starts if (when) Grove is knicked up.

If Proctor makes the team it will be only until Garner comes back, he just is not that good, Incognito on the other hand will make the team so it would be better to give him some snaps at Center now rather than wait for it to be needed during the regular season.

with Thomas being gone ... not sure that really means that Thomas had nothing left -- or what we have is better .... hopefully, the latter -- but then again, why would we have signed him to start with .......

i think we have a few more players that will get signed over the next week as cuts continue ..... especially at OLB and S ..... 'maybe' OL .... but just don't see it right now -- unless Garner being gone really creates that much of a hole that we need to plug it short term.
