Here is his Sith disciple:
I hate that Rosenhaus is representing Matt Roth because our front office plays hardball, if Matty wants to much dough, they will send him down the road. -
they've been kippered
can't believe a word of it & there must be a bad intention in leaking the information
only the FrontOffice knows -
keep will allen....he will only help the development of smith and davis imho

Cameron Wake & Pat White......instead of.............Clint Sintim
Also, there is 2010 FA & Draft. -
Nobody is going to be throwing bags of money to Matt Roth at the end of the season. Ooh, he can set the edge!!!! Big whoop. I'm sure there are TONS of OLBs who can set the edge like he does when they know they never have to effectively rush the passer.
I could take or leave Roth. I have a feeling that the rest of the NFL's GMs feel the same way. -
I liked Clint Sintim a lot in this years draft too. I had him pegged at twenty-five for a while and then changed it to Sean Smith, who we ended up getting. However, they must have not been comfortable with him, even at 44. What I'm guessing they thought with Clint Sintim is how much of an upgrade is he over Matt Roth in the pass rushing department? Some teams were not completely sold on his pass rushing abilities as a stand-up linebacker and I think that's a big reason as to why you saw multiple 4-3 teams look at him as a strong-side linebacker and IMO as a defensive end. I said it leading up to the draft, Clint Sintim IMO is more explosive with his hand in the dirt than standing up. He's a more explosive pass rusher and I thought that he could have been a good cover linebacker too, which he now will be in New York. However, you look at him and then you look at guys in next years draft, the Greg Hardy's, Brandon Lang, Jerry Hughes, Mark Herzlich, George Selvie, Corey Wootton, Ricky Sapp, Dexter Davis, etc. and then I'm suddenly OK with it becuase I know there's talent next year. I've got guys to help fill some needs at other positions in 2009 and in a weaker class so when 2010 comes around, I know the talent level will be greater.
