If you don't watch and/or understand what you're seeing you'd think that McD is a terrible play caller. In reality, the execution is the problem. Does he make bad calls? Sure. All play callers do. Could he be better? Sure. Calling him "terrible" is hyperbole at it's finest.
Micah Parsons is campaigning for Hill to come to Dallas; I say do it (while fleecing the senile GM out of a few picks) and let the drama begin.
This might be a dumb question, but why does the former team take a dead cap hit on a trade? A release, I get, but doesn’t the team on the receiving end of the trade assume the player’s salary?
Basically, a team has to account for money already paid to the player before cutting or trading a player and removing them from the team. Bonuses are spread across the entirety of the contract so far as cap hit but paid immediately.
It would be amazing if a temper tantrum had that impact. Not sure how that would impact bonus cap hit though.
From what I’m reading, we’ve paid him around $15-$20m in bonuses etc so we’d have a dead cap hit in 2026. However, and depending on what his contract reads, he may have to pay that money back and it wouldn’t be a cap hit.
Gotta do what's good for my family says the guy who cheats on his wife impregnating 5 other women. Get rid of this piece of trash.

Yeah, so the tweet is wrong. There’s no way they cut Tyreek. He will be traded post June 1st, retire, or cut ONLY if his contract stipulates that we don’t have to pay him due to his quitting in the middle of a game.
Basically yes. Again though, sounds like his contract may stipulate that his actions may mean the Dolphins pay him nothing more.
Yeah and the difference in the trade vs cut cap hit is the guaranteed salary. So if he no longer has guaranteed salary, his leverage goes away. He chose the right picture for his tweet. Just as smart as Brown.
At the time of my first post on this subject, I didn't know that Hill had taken himself out of the game...I didn't know that he had seen the scoreboard of Denver crushing KC and quit. Not that I know this...now that I see he's updated his X account profile picture of the infamous temper tantrum of Antonio Brown with his face imposed over Brown's picture, my opinion of it all has shifted drastically. Now I stick by my first post, Ross himself needs to sit Hill down and ask him WHY he wants out so he can figure out WHAT is going on with the team however, If you are a "competitor"; if you are a "leader", if you are a team captain, you don't QUIT on your teammates. You are an example that other players look to. You are looked to for motivation. You are looked to for guidance. I always knew our time with Hill was only temporary but the manner in which this is happening is so incredibly disappointing.
Completely agree. It also explains why basically the entire team decided to quit Sunday. This was never going to end well with Tyreek Hill. In fact, him making headlines week 1 for his encounter with police (right or wrong) was a bit of foreshadowing on how this year was going to go with him. Grier (since he remains the GM) will now have to find a taker for Hill. I'm surr he'll be able to do that, but the compensation won't be anything near fair for Hill. We need to be done with him though. In order to be a great team (which is what we want), you can't have these distractions. I'm just glad it's happening now as opposed to him pulling this crap in mid August.
That incident happened an hour before kickoff on the first game of the season. Nostrodamus could not have predicted such a turn of events. Tua was once again injured in week 2 which basically put the season into a tail spin. If anything, Miami could have probably moved Hill once the season was a wash, but Tua came back, we beat the Rams (a winning team) and fans such as myself started to believe again.
I'm not sure how to go back and find old posts but I suggested trading Hill and making McDaniel the ball boy when we were like 1-4. It was right after Snoop's first game when Hill and Waddle were held to no catches and were both on the sidelines laughing like they didn't care. I think Hill checked out the day Tua went on IR. Nah mean dog?
I still believe. I mean surely Tua is done putting his head down to fight for meaningless yards now, right? Right? RIGHT!?
It showed he was a knucklehead and distraction. He said his wrist was hurt,,,,, handcuffs can do that to a person.
If teams dumped all their knuckleheads and distractions the NFL would need to add another franchise, lol.
how many teams had players like Hill that often said or did things all year long? The local writers complained about his trolling and immaturity all year long.
I want Hill gone and I hope it's Cleveland. Leopards don't lose their spots. First it was only his behavior off the field and now it's spilling on the field too. He's trash. We should get what we can get and move on.
I didn’t hear any complaints the past two years. In terms of players who were distractions, I nominate Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, DeShaun Watson, Hassan Reddick…..
What? You know common sense doesn't fly around here. "Hyperbole or death" is the only way in the Mains....lol
Those players you mentioned were all gotten rid of correct? and the writers have talked about Hill being a troll and his immaturity for a couple of years.
Rodgers is still with the Jets Reddick is still with the Jets Watson is still with the Browns So no, all were not "gotten rid of".
Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson Terrell Owens Randy Moss Deion Sanders There are others whose names escape me but it always seems to be the WRs that are the divas and always saying or doing stupid sh1t. When a team is WINNING, fans tend to overlook such shenanigans but when you’re losing or struggling, fans like me tend to get pissed off at players acting like that.
