Just got back from the U2 Concert at Sam Boyd Stadium... Bono is AMAZING live, what an awesome show, though i do not know why Black Eye Peas opened up for them... You can't get much different from U2 then the Black Eye Peas, but i got to see one of the Dolphin owners sing i guess...Any way they played a lot of their old stuff and not many of their new stuff which i liked...They played 2 and a half hours and played great songs.

Sounds like a great show. You said "can't get much different than U2 and Black Eyed Peas." Well....back in 98 when my brother Casey was going to UConn, we saw Violent Femmes open up for Busta Rhymes and Rusted Root. Strangest bill I've ever seen. But awesome though.
Edit: We saw Rip Hamilton walking out after Busta finished. -
Well i am officially pissed off...I checked U2 website with their tours and saw that Muse has been opening up for them up until recently... This is only the second show with the BEP... At least i am going to see Muse in December, but it would have been awesome if they opened up last night.

I saw U2 at Joe Robbie Stadium in 1994. Public Enemy opened. Go figure.

I saw U2 for the Discotheque tour in '97. It was pretty cool. Saw them at Alltel Stadium in Jax. For one song they disappeared and they came back out in a giant silver ball, wearing Jaguars jerseys. Bono brought some hottie onstage and danced a few minutes, before taking his jersey off and putting it on her and walking her offstage. She was so excited, I thought she was gonna wet her pants
