UCLA just went against everything that just got them the lead in those three plays. This is UT's chance, right here. They need a quality series to get them in the end zone, and it's a nice flight back.
I am so tired of losing/terrible seasons for my football teams. The only good I see in this is that Tenn did this last year and won the SEC East and there are no losses in the SEC column now. Only time will tell I guess.
It's ok Sking, you'll be fine. Just continue to have a lack of confidence in your team like last year and you'll end up on the good side just like last year you said lol.
At least us Vols fans and Hurricane fans can feel each others pain in not living up to potential lately. BTW I hope Miami kills Florida next weekend.
Well its been fun guys but I have early classes tomorrow. I hope the Fins can cheer me up this Sunday (this is why football season is a roller coaster I guess because weeks with losses suck and winning weeks suck a lot less). See you guys.
One last thing...this was the worst way to end a 3 day weekend (if its actual ending wasn't bad enough). Also the National Championship = 99.9% over barring a miracle but the Vols SEC record is still 0-0 which could still lead to another SEC East win as well as a SEC win and a BCS bowl. Its still possible and until the season is over I won't give up because the '08 season can play out like the '07.
LOL... amazing game, well, I should say amazing fourth quarter (the first three quarters was a snoozer...) All I have to say is NORM CHOW.
wow. WOW. moved to LA last week, this was my first Bruins game I've been to. what a way to start it off right? It was such a great game. Could have ended it about 4 times but they persevered. Apart from those poor placed INTs in the first half, the team played an all around great game. Go Bruins! Edit: I can't BELIEVE there were 'fans' that left after Tenn scored that go ahead TD in the 4th. I gave them such hell for bailing. they're gonna be sad they missed out
great game I turned it on when the Bruins were charging down the field under 2mins. I was cheering for UCLA because they were the under dogs and the Tenn loss would bump PSU up in the standings.
I went to the game. TV can't describe how crazy it was. As a UCLA student, it was something to behold. UCLA played tough and it truly is amazing how 4 ints in one half couldn't kill this team.
Incredible game. Sat in the Den and well worth the ticket price, well, free, but still. Took a while to find my car in the golf course/parking lot in pitch-black darkness. But worth waiting for overtime. I knew Norm Chow was good, but I had no idea he was GOD after what he pulled. Starting RB, QB, TE, WR all down in or before this game and he manages to get us 27 points with a 1st time Juco guy at QB. Lotta turnovers at first though. I always thought Chow knew how to groom a QB but wow. And newly minted alum.
Easily our best since beating USC two years ago for the massive upset of 13-9. That was even greater to be sure, but this wasn't a rivalry game and they still won. PRICE WAS A MONSTER The DT duo simply played lights out against an extremely talented Tennessee team.
Tennessee's fielded a good OL and we really put the pressure on em. LB's were on and off but got the job done. I'm amazed how Craft turned into a whole new QB in the 2nd half. Norm and Rick must've done a number on him. And Ryan Moya really stepped it up when Paulson went down. Paulson has a chance to be a heck of a TE but Moya's no slouch.
