Cedric Ogbuehi is returning to A&M. With Matthews leaving, he will see how a move to LT next season has boosted Matthew's draft stock and hope to do the same. He got a 1st round grade from the advisory board though, so not sure if returning is the best move for him.

It could be if he can parlay that into a top 5-10 pick and potentially tack on upwards of $11 million to his rookie contract. DeAndre Hopkins was drafted 27th and signed for $7.6M. Ansah drafted 5th signed for $18.6M. Warmack at 10th signed for $12.2M. If for some reason this happens to be his only or biggest NFL contract it could make a big difference holding out a year.

He looked pretty good against Ohio State in the Orange Bowl, much to my dismay.

Just as an aside I believe Dane Brugler's underclassman count is up to 81 or 83 after the Troy Niklas news.

It's a calculated risk though, and with Manziel away he's going to have a different QB's tendencies behind him next season to get used to, as well as a switch in position. I'm not saying he's wrong in staying for another year to hopefully go higher, it certainly makes some sense to make that decision, but it would also have made sense to go now. From a biased Miami standpoint it's one less OL to have a choice from too...

Looks like Kelvin Benjamin declared and he was given a first round grade by the draft evaluators.

He'll get to show his stuff at LT next year and will most likely increase his draft stock to an even higher 1st round level. Good move, but I wish that he was coming out this year so we could get him at #19.

Still trying to process the blow that the OT position took when Ogbuehi, Cameron Erving and La'el Collins all went back to school. Not that the position is BARE or anything but it certainly took a hit.

There are still about eight guys that I have a large amount of interest in, including Jake Matthews, Taylor Lewan, Billy Turner, Greg Robinson, Cyrus Kouandjio, JaWuan James, Morgan Moses and Wesley Johnson.

Those I left off that I hear a lot of other people talking about are: Antonio Richardson, James Hurst, Joel Bitonio, Justin Britt, Jack Mewhort, Cornelius Lucas, Michael Schofield, Seantrel Henderson, Charles Leno Jr. and Matt Patchan...FOR NOW.

There are some of those whose skill sets I do appreciate and see some good things in, but also have some serious questions about one way or another. For others I just need to do more research.

Scott Wright's website has Vic Beasley having declared. I've added him for now. List is at 82.

I'll be M.I.A. until Sunday, but will update the thread then.

Eh... Benjamin is going to need a nice combine for him to go first round in my opinion.... I think he should have stayed one more season but oh well, not sure if Ernert Wilford or Anquan Boldin.

Now Jeremy Hill...there's a back you think about pairing with Lamar Miller. He's megalithic. And unlike Daniel Thomas he actually runs like it.

Yea, I like him more than Hyde in the draft (I mention him because he's a "big" back too). I do have a bit of worry about how he handles the money though, as he can't be out at bars and getting into fights as a professional.

Sorry I've been out of pocket the last few days. The list is up to 85 names as of this morning after adding Hill, Sunseri, and the LSU guard. Does that sound right? I'll update as necessary tomorrow as it's the deadline day to declare.

LSU HB Alfred Blue entering the draft.

David Yankey, OL, Stanford going pro.

Ka'Deem Carey, HB, Arizona going pro.

Carl Bradford, DT, Arizona State going pro.

Devonta Freeman, RB, Florida State going pro.

Pierre Warren, FS, Jacksonville State going pro.

Viliami Moala, DT, California going pro.

That'd take the list to an absurd 91 underclassmen (almost a full 3 rounds worth of players!).

Blake Bortles, the star quarterback of the UCF Golden Knights with legit top level NFL potential, having a very hot girlfriend is the most unsurprising thing I've ever heard.

For people that haven't been there, the UCF area has more hot women (we're talking 9's and 10's, not 7's and 8's) per capita than anywhere else in the country excepting perhaps portions of L.A.

I don't know about that. It's not a knock on UCF (I've been there and it's definitely good), but going anywhere in public at FSU was mind-blowing. Spring weekend felt like being at the Playboy mansion. I live in LA and per capita, FSU was better IMO and it wasn't even close.

I can attest to this. Hotter than South Fla, hotter than Dallas, and hotter than Las Vegas. Blake's GF is like every other bird in east Orlando.

Cameron Fleming, RT, Stanford is going pro. He's the last person to declare as far as I can tell.

Supposedly 88 underclassmen have declared (according to USA Today), which of course shatters last year's record of 73. Almost a 1/3rd of underclassmen went undrafted last year, so if that trend holds, there will be a heck of a lot of (potential) talent available out there for cheap. Hopefully whoever our GM is does a great job with the draft and UDFAs.
