Many posters arrive at ThePhins.com looking to make a name for themselves. Some succeed, some fail, and some even run themselves right out of the place with an indefinite ban. Whether you're extremely active on the forum or post once in a while, you still have the chance to be apart of a team. Eight teams will enter this draft looking to have the most complete team of posters that offer knowledge, humor, prose, improvisation, and other qualities that would make their team complete. Each team leader, or the coach, will draft their poster while giving a semi in-depth report on the poster they've chosen. They would include, but not limit it to, their accomplishments, their pros, their cons, and what impact they will have on your franchise.
Now, let's get to the part where the eight coaches are decided. I'm looking for two more guys that are willing to include their creative touch in this and will do a paragraph or two of a write up for each poster they draft. If you aren't going to take the time to do a small write up, then please don't take a spot for someone who might want one even more. I am let Club Level members get the first shot at the coach positions, but I didn't garner enough interest for coaches. However everyone seemed all for it as far as players goes... I will be a coach as well if we cannot find two more people, but I'm sure we will be able to so I don't think you'll have to worry about me picking any of you...
Alright guys, I need two more posters to help me "run" this thing, let's do this! Anyone interested in being a coach of their own franchise with ThePhins' finest?

I don't know if everyone understands what we're doing here, but I'll try to give an example of what's going to happen. The eight coaches will be participating in a draft where they draft posters off of ThePhins.com to make a franchise out of posters. Each team will have 40 posters, therefore there will be 40 rounds in the Poster Draft. At the end of the draft (This will take a while, no worries), the coaches will bring in their write ups on who has the best squad of posters. It's very likely that I'll have the coaches put together their rosters as if it were a football team. So maybe you have Boomer as your quarterback being he's very knowledgeable and Mindwarp as your running back being he comes off as tough, etc... One round of a poster draft could look something like this...
Round One:
Team One - Celtkin
Team Two - Muck
Team Three - Boomer
Team Four - Fin Fan In Cali
Team Five - ckparrothead
Team Six - CrunchTime
Team Seven - Aqua4Ever04
Team Eight - unluckyluciano
Now, posters will not be able to choose their position. Why? Because if you're the coach then you own that player/poster in a sense. If you want to tell Aqua4Ever04 to be the waterboy, he will say "Yes Sir!" I know people will say they will hold out, but realize that they are joking. I know I am sounding obvious here, but I don't want people thinking that this is a bidding format. If you have ANY questions, feel free to ask me. When the coaches are decided, I will have more in-depth rules and regulations.
Bjornforum_veteranI'm up for participating. It sounds like it will help get through the off season. I don't want to be a coach though.

My only guess would be that someone wasn't selected high enough (aka felt they should be a top ten pick but went in round five or something)...

Ooo Yeah I wouldn't see that as too big of a problem. I'm going with BPA lol. Hey can we add humor in some of the write-ups or do you want it straight-forward?

Hmmm good point, I would pull a Bill Belichick with the Jets and quit after a day and go to another internet football drafting site and win multiple titles while spying on my competitors by videotaping their pm's and e-mails.
GoPhins!luxury_boxOK, here is my quick mock!
1. Muck/Celtkin - the first pick is a rare double pick. It lays a great foundation as the site would not exist without them.
3. Boomer/CKParrothead/KB21- An even rarer triple pick is next. This will staff the teams "skill" positions.
6. CrunchTime/Fin Fan in Cali/njfinfan/GridIronKing34 - The mythical quadruple pick. These are the trench warriors that allow the "Skill" positions to shine.
10. ATVZ400 - This allows the team to know what the other teams are doing before they even know themselves.
And the mock ends here because with this team there is no way to lose. Plus I'm lazy and don't want to make anyone angry for not including them in my mock. :)
As a side note, even though the draft ended a week ago Lucky is still waiting by the phone in the hopes that someone will call him.
