Like others have said you know what you want and as long as you're happy with your team when we get to final roster thats all that matters. We all do this for fun. There will always be criticizing. EX: I'm getting some for trading Jennings, but I'm still okay with the outcome. Heck, gish is still getting crap for Jamaal Charles.

All in all this really just gives you the chance to interact and start getting to know some of the board members better.

We barely talked about Scott for Willis, but IMO it's a good under the radar trade for both sides.

Scott has character issues but loads of talent, and the Seahawk fans I spoke to said that Willis is easily their best lineman at the moment, and a guy that is a solid starter in the league.

IDK Took me a long while to accept because I had to talk with Seahawk fans. (Their message board sucks btw) They had good reports on him.

I hear ya. I'm just saying to each their own because when I focused in on him in the five games I re-watched, he wasn't impressive to me.

Gholston was just a throw in. Most likely he'll get cut if I'm up against the cap. I figured if anyone could get something out of him it would be LeBeau though.

PFF has him ranked as about average, which was fine to me. I like his versatility (he has played RG) because it allows options in FA. Also he's cheap.

Plus I'm tired of my roster being at risk of going to jail

I honestly had no use for him. IMO he was a poor pass protector but a strong run blocker. What stood out from the notes I took on watching him was "struggles to open hips, sloppy footwork and a slow kickslide".

Maybe he can do things for you though.

    And Lol!

Still wondering how the Jets let go both Sanchez and Scott for basically a bag of potatoes. Now I'll reserve final judgment to see what happens in FA or the draft but I don't think value was received.

well i will run right out and cancel that deal.

when did i have to explain deal 2 you?

scott cap was 7.5 mil, i either move him, or numerous others, i chose him. since we live in fantasy land and cant renegotiate deals, and would either eat or cut. i talked to several teams onlly 1 would even offer. so neg best deal i coulf or cut so gyss what the value i got was better than 0. now for sanchez, best offer after i got shafted and orig deal was canceled was a second. so yes i could wait for better, but looking at teams and putting him on the block, w/ said discussions, i accepted the 2nd, modified by 1vrd down ti get 1 rd higher on scott to me the browns 3rd and 4th was better than 2 and 5, you dont whooppee. considering you evidently arent in cap hell and have traded 0, seems you self proclaimed pos is trade judge, well judge away. dont vote for me. i'm devastated

sory not trying to be a D$@&, but dont understand why you need to rehash my deal ? you wouldnt have made the deal so be it. you havent made any. so hard to get criticism back.

if you were privy to all myy conversations and all actions then ok but you werent.

sorry but this is his 3rd post referencing my deal he didnt like. as if he is the judge we need to impress. maybe my deals dont garner votes and i have made mistakes. but doing nothing and relying on the team as it was handed to you proves nothing either. so dont unnderstand why he doesnt drop it

dude don't let the criticism get to you. just pick something to criticize back.

no, two wrongs don't make a right, but they sure as hell do make it even.

i'm sure gish and I are going to get criticized after we post a certain trade...

Honestly, don't let it bother you JMH.
Still lots of time here. A large part of this for me is to learn about:
    The team I am representing
The Free Agents that are available this year
The Draft and who is worth paying attention too
    -
This isn't a popularity contest, nor do we actually win anything.
Stick to your guns brother, don't worry what others think. If we all did that, ZERO trades would happen cause we would all be paranoid of screwing the pooch.
For the record, I honestly don't think Snatchez is any better than Brady Quinn

simply ignore no need to get in a hissy fit everytime somebody doesnt like your trade

although imo it wouldve been better to just release scott and keep sanchez for the highest bidder.

JMH... the Vikings haven't done a thing.. they are too busy co gming... which means, one of them gets an offer and has to discuss it with the other.. it takes days... weeks... by the time that is done, the offer is no longer on the table... i'd rather negotiate with a fly... oh and BK, you have a PM... :shifty:

they aren't going to cut both, which means, some of you are going to guess right and some are going to guess wrong but still get a good strong safety.

yeah i could have but but based on convo i had noone was offering a 1st. i felt like the deal i had for a 1st was canceled in part because he felt he paid too much. subs talks were no higher than a second. scott got 0 offer higher than 5th. to me 3 and 4 was betteer than 1 2nd rd. would i have gotten a better deal waiting? possibly, but most teams had qb deals in place.

so took the deal and got cap relief
