I'm trying to watch a dvd that I downloaded (I own the original) and I was wondering if there's a program that will open the 30 .Rar files at once and save me about 4hrs?
Winrar They should be all in the same set numbered 00, 01, 02 and so on. Double click on the first and it will do the rest. It should pop up with a window that display the files that were compressed and separated when before compressing. All you have to do is drag and drop the file where you want it.
I have Winrar and that's usually what I use. This usually works. But when I try it on DVD files, I don't see any file that I would normally click to view the movie. There's no video file to be found. It seems like I have a ton of volume files but no video.
Ugh IDK. I know how to do a screenshot but for whatever reason it wont let me paste it in Paint. Basically, I have my dled folder with all the RAR files and when I unzip one, all I'm looking at is PAR and Volume files, no video file to choose.
It decompresses and I get more volume files. I'm gonna try another DL and hopefully it was just a bad link.
what I normally do is select all of the files in the .rar (CTRL + A) and right click to extract here...in the same folder. Just make sure that when you select all that you deselect any file that isn't a .rar file (like any readme files, etc.)
**** Still not working. I tried to compress the new files I downloaded and I got some kind of error I've never seen before with RAR files. Something about the memory not being able to read and an unexpected error in the program. Gay
thats wierd. maybe you have a corrupt .rar file somewhere. Thats the only error I've ever received while doing that.
I HATE it when some nitwit .rar's a movie is 30 different folders, better just to find another version. You could splice them all together, but it's too much of a hassle IMO, especially if you can't get them open. Run a virus/spyware scan on the folder just to make sure that you didn't get anything.
