Watching Fox and Jay Glazer says that Bess signed a two-year extension making him the highest paid slot receiver in the league. He did not say for how much.

It was very necessary, he is amazing. If the Dolphins can get their special teams together like today for the rest of the season, and find the end zone they should be in good shape. Bess is a big reason for that, and a hard worker who doesn't complain and you know gives 100%.

It was reported by Jay Glazer on the NFL postgame show on Fox that Bess has got a contract extension making him the highest paid slot receiver. Hopefully more details get out soon.

:lol: I said this in the GD thread today after Bess scored the TD, or maybe it was after a 3rd down conversion, I pulled a Gus Johnson... "Get this man a new contract!" Sure enough, we did. Thank God!! Bess is worth every penny IMO.

The rest of the NFL is taking notice of Bess so its a good move to tie him up before one of our rivals gets their mitts on him.

I've been saying Bess should start over Hartline. I think Bess can play both wide opposite Marshall and slot when we go three wide. I know Hartline is faster but Bess is much more consistent and can churn up extra yards in space. Hartline is more like an acrobatic posession WR with some speed and quickness but does not have consistency. Should be used on passing downs.

I love what Bess does on the field and have been a big fan since watching him play for Hawaii. He finds a way to get open and rarely drops it. Money well spent....I might buy a Bess jersey next.
