It's interesting to see CB Will Bilingsley and WR Jayson Foster go against each other. These are probably the two fastest guys on the field so when Foster runs 9 routes it is all about going fast. Foster got behind Billingsley once this morning, but Chad Henne's pass was overthrown. Coach Tony Sparano noted Billingsley has caught the eye of the coaching staff with that 4.29 speed but, "he needs a lot of work," he said, with his technique. Davone Bess has been OK during the workouts but he seems to slow down as the practice wears on. "He has pretty good ball skills," Sparano said, "but he needs work from a conditioning standpoint." link http://dolphinsindepth.blogspot.com/2008/05/update-following-saturdays-morning.html
You can't teach speed. While it's unlikely either of these guys crack the final roster this year, we have some really interesting candidates for the PS. I love watching Foster's Youtube highlights. That guy has some serious quicks. Could eventually be a great KR to line up opposite Ginn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOfVreEXJM4
Foster seems to be a great athlete, we just have to figure out which position he should play for us, or he might just be a special teams return guy for us, not bad at all!
