I remember hearing about this early in the season, but they dismissed it hard very quickly and made it sound like this wasn't going to affect him or his development in any way.
Does anyone know the severity of it? After Marino's injury back in the day, leg injuries to QBs always make me wonder. Granted Marino's was much much more serious than this sounds to be.
Anyways, just hoping someone out there has a bit more insight to all of this as I really didn't follow it. Didn't think we'd still be talking/hearing about it this far into the offseason.

Ah. The knee-surgery. Well, glad to hear he's this far into rehabbing it. Whoever comes out as our FS is gonna need some confidence to start the year; Sanchez is the guy who can get the ball to them...

watched Total Access last night and they talked about it a little. that was the first i had heard about it. they said he would be ready for training camp but more than likely would miss everything else in this offseason. I was half asleep so don't hold me to that. :wink2:

Hopefully he'll be fine and come week 3, he and Mr. Dansby can meet:shifty:

From what I read, it was a small patella tear. FWIW, the say he hasn't started running yet.

Who knows what it was, the Jets seem pretty secretive about it.

Off-topic: Do any of you remember that Mark Sanchez was arrested for Sexual Assualt in 2006?
Get well soon, Mark. -

Wasn't it a PCL tear/sprain?

Hope Sanchez is ready by the regular season....we don't want any excuses from Jet's fans when we beat them again.
