http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...e-de-odrick-for-six-weeks?module=HP_headlines F*** ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, we have a week 5 bye, so it could be worse. Still, six weeks is six weeks. Not good for a rookie to miss that much time, but at least it means he won’t hit the rookie wall until the end of the regular season, as opposed to the beginning of the December as normal. Also, Jared Odrick is the new Zach Thomas: no one can spell his name right. I’ve seen it spelled Odryck, Odrich, O’drick, and Odrych. Wow.
I pronounce it wrong too...but I prefer the way I pronounce it over how it really sounds. Odrick > Ahdrick
couldn't see anything with the link. but 4 weeks sucks *** considering how important weeks 3 and 4 are. F**K*N S**T
But what about Odrick? Seriously though, I had a dream last week that Odrick got injured and was out for the year. Damn me and my clairvoyant dreams. And yes, I dreamt about a Rookie lineman. Not nailing the hot chick in my complex, a huge 280 pound football player.
Damn... what a bummer. Yesterday this was apparently just a bone bruise, but i guess it turned out much worse. Shame too, looked like he was going to have a great year. We really coulda used him the next few weeks with the tough games we have coming up.
I think this situation is pretty easily handled with the combination of sliding Starks out and having Soliai at nose as well as having McDaniel in there instead. Still sucks though.
Pastriots benefitted the most from Tuesday MASH day: -Odrick out for Patriot game #1 -Jenks out for Jest v Pastriots -Crowder..who knows?
http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/09/14/1825002/parcells-stays-on-to-back-sparano.htm That's great. But Dotson has never ascended beyond the third team since being drafted. Even in camp, he was behind Douglas and Grant, who'd never played in a 3-4. We're entering the Murderer's Row portion of our schedule, and they're going with yet another developmental guy over proven vets that flashed in preseason? You're backups now consist of Robert Rose and Lionel Dotson. I've got to believe Randy Starks will be over there a bit more often.
Or more 4-3 looks. Anyone want to call Cleveland and see is Shaun Rogers can be had on the cheap? His big fat *** would probably mean Starks slides over more permanently to the DE position, but he would shore up a line that, all of a sudden is about as deep as Paris Hilton.
Why can't they (our FO) just tell the effing truth and let it be known. Why all this 007 secrecy sh*t. The other teams will know, they all have spies & media hounds that will tell the truth. I just don't get all the secrecy crappola.
We have plenty of good quality DE's Sammie, the problem is specialization. The days of just putting a DE out there for 700 plays a year are kinda coming to an end, you need passrushing guys and run stuffing guys, and utility guys. Slowly that flexibility is being drained away.
With the way Solai has been playing, look more and more to see some 4-3, and in some cases we'll see Starks play DE in the 3-4 sets if Solai continues...
