I've got 1 gig of ram. I can expand to 4. I'm gonna put four in because I can find 4 gigs for 40 bucks on newegg :yahoo: I'm aware there is a difference in what types of ram you can buy but i've heard these are okay.

but what I want to know what's a good video card that's kinda inexpensive that fits with the PCIe 16x slots that's relatively inexpensive?

How's your power supply? A lot of PCs come with low-end power supplies. Make sure you have enough juice before you upgrade your video board.
