http://www.usatoday.com/weather/new...-+Top+Stories)&utm_content=Google+Feedfetcher What a winter we're having! And this is a video I shot here in Hilton Head, SC last night. I think its been over twenty years since they've even seen a flurry here. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYRItKyRWtc"]YouTube- Snow in Hilton Head[/ame] Anyone else get snow where you shouldn't have?
No snow in Austin Texas, but frost on my car which is bad enough ... I remember the days living in Penn and NY. Dont miss it.
Really? We have at least 3" EVERYWHERE here in the Frisco area. Had more like 6 when I went into work yesterday.
We had about seven inches here in Augusta, GA yesterday evening. It's something else, I haven't experienced snowfall like this in my lifetime, since I grew up in Florida. It's starting to melt but will probably be around most of the day because of how much there was. The kids and I had a blast with this stuff. It doesn't normally snow at all here. It was very pretty and picturesque.
Here I am in Canada, Toronto, Ontario and we've had a mild winter by our standards. I think we've only had like 3 snowfalls, and I only had to shovel my driveway 2 out of the 3 times. Ironic how the common stereotype is that we get all the snow. I can't imagine how people in the warm climates like SC are coming to terms with the colder weather this year. Snow is a nice novelty, but the cold weather is something I would hate if I wasn't used to it.
Yeah, most here are over the cold and ready for spring to arrive. But, they were really excited about getting snow. There are (were) snowmen everywhere this morning. First thing this morning, I went outside and gathered up some snowballs, then went back inside and beaned my wife and kids with them. I opened the door to the upstairs bathroom and beaned my screaming daughter while she was on the pot.
